I recently paid for a "Radiesse with PRP" treatment on 11/18/2025 performed by Taylor Specht, RN. She performed the procedure with a cannula into my neck, however it was not handled in delicate manner. A lot of force was used and it not only was it painful, but it left two stretch mark scars in the area of the cannula insertion. I booked a follow up visit with this RN injector and displayed the skin damage to my neck area, as a result of her heavy hand. There was no apology, but only a suggestion as to "wait and see". I've had this same treatment numerous times over the past several years by other medical spas, with no issues or any pain. In fact, I reached out to some of regular long term practitioners, and each of them were astonished, that I had severe bruising and potential scarring from this treatment. Unfortunately, the Release of Liability that a patient is asked to sign, allows poor practitioners the ability to do something harmful to a patient, without any perceived liability or recourse, on their end. The lack of care is evident in the way that this injector handled my treatment. I would not recommend Taylor Specht, for any aesthetic procedure that involves precision, skill and a delicate approach.

Just from that facial I knew that she had a talent for making women feel beautiful. She has a calm demeanor and she's really sweet. Since then, Mia has done my makeup a few times and I've seen her for waxings as well. Mia has a lot of experience with makeup and it's apparent in her work. I've gotten artistic makeup done with her--pudding on my head type of artistry-- and bridal makeup for a photo shoot. Each look was unique and pretty, yet still looked like me. None of that--oh my goodness she's wearing choke makeup kine---it was me wearing makeup, more like the makeup just accentuated my features. Mia also does waxings, which here in Hawai`i is a must! However, her shop for waxings and facials are on her home island of Kaua'i. So if you're ever visiting Kaua'i or if you're from Kaua'i, look her up for a facial and waxings. I've gotten a wax from her a few times and it's been much more manageable than other wax experiences I've had. She uses hard wax---much better in my opinion-- it takes a little bit more patience, BUT there is MUCH less irritation than from strip wax. Strip wax may be fast--but a bit more uncomfortable--to me at least. Mia is the total package, she has a talent with makeup, aesthetician work, and has the pleasant demeanor which I look for in a person in this type of work. She showed up to our hotel room on time with her crew and they went to work. Everyone was pleased with their hair and make-up.
