Excellent painters!! Jeff and Rusty were great painters. They didn't take any short cuts. They even removed my gutter down spouts to paint the trim behind them. They were extremely friends and thorough. I had priced out 5 different companies. Some were cheaper but they were only going to do one coat of paint, sprayed on. New Leaf did a solid two coats with the sprayer and rollers as well which provides a much better coverage. Overall, New Leaf was by far the best value and the highest quality! My only slight complaint is that Thomas Drake, who quoted the job and did the scheduling was not very good at communicating. The painters were two weeks behind due to weather, which is totally understandable. But there was no communication from Mr Drake about the delays at all. read more

They did a poor job painting the exterior of my home. They don't do what they say they will do and what is written in the contract. They did a terrible job caulking my windows even after I contacted the owner. Paint is peeling off on certain areas of the house. I am not sure I received two coats of paint even though the contract called for it. Painters seemed really lazy. They left painters tape on part of the house and did not clean up paint splatter. I'm happy with their painting service, completed in a very fast timing. One thing I'm not happy with is the interior painting part. I have to go over and inspect their quality workmanship to see if they missed any spots and yes there were a few spots so I show it to the lead foreman and he gladly redo it. But them I caught more areas that needs attention like my master bathroom, the shower area. There were painting bubble holes that wasn't done correctly and the water gets in it . It needs to be rescrape and repaint it for a smooth surface. Again I'm not happy with this part. Other part I'm not happy is leaving my floor dusty and dirty when they're done. I have to resweep and mop my floor. The crew should have clean this when they're done but they didn't clean up themselves. What I like about them is they work around with my schedule because I work the night shift and sleep during the day, The exterior of the house looks really great. We had popcorn ceilings in our home and wanted them removed. We contacted A New Leaf Painting and they had Orange Park Drywall come out to complete the work. In seven hours they took down our old popcorn ceilings, put in the knockdown ceiling, primed and painted the ceiling. We were thrilled with the results! They completed our entire 1800 square foot home including closets in just seven hours. There was slight damage to our wallpaper and drywall but we were informed of that possibility before hand so we were not at all displeased by that. I do not recommend this company at all. We had our exterior painted in August. The contract stated you would know when they would arrive and when they would leave. This was never the case. What was supposed to take 5 days took 10 days as they would show up at 11:00 am and leave at 2 or 3 pm. We had some siding replaced and were haveing 3 sides painted and it cost me over 4000.00 dollars. A lot of personal problems with the workers as a guy (Tate) and his girlfriend pressure washed the house the first day without using any bleach which was stated in the contract. So they painted on top of a dirty house. He showed up without her the next day and had a 71 year old from Jamaica whom did not work for A New Leaf but was being paid by Tate. Always had an excuse about leaving due to his personal problems with his girlfriend or something wrong with the paint mixer. On several occasions they brought in extra help with some people who told me they just started and had been painting for a few months and were working with their spouse or boyfriend. I took offwork the whole time they were here and watched them and they used a sprayer-so the bottom of all the siding never got painted. The contract stated everything was to be painted twice and I had to argue with them on this so they watered the paint down as they only bought a 5 gallon bucket and would not buy anymore even though I paid for the paint too. When I would call the office and talk to Thomas the owner- he would only apologize for his workers but never come out. He only came out and walked around the house with me before the job was started. Very unprofessional job and company. Don't waste your time with them. My wife and I are going to have to repaint our house ourselves. Blane read more
