I don't know what someone else would do, but Abner the owner came over the day after I contacted Yelp for contractors. He came out and told us after looking at our furnace that it was clean and we don't need his services! I was amazed. He then advised us by telling us he would do this and his staff as well to be honest and forthright. This is what a business should be doing. Help people, do right by people and if you do the work, which he informed us, would be done or redone until correct. I don't know what the cost would be if he had to do the work for us, but I was impressed with his words, actions and information. He returned after advising us that the furnace should be sprayed with a deterrent to prevent mold and came back to do the job for us the next day. Wonderful. 5 star quality business practice.

I live in Milwaukee and have a home up in Shawano County. My home is equipped with a Nest…read morethermostat so I can monitor the heating conditions in winter and turn on the air conditioning before I leave town in the summer. I recently noted my Nest was offline for 4 days which was unusual so I decided to begin my 3 hour drive north. About half way there I got an email from my Nest that the safety temperature of 45 degrees had been reached in my house so I knew the furnace was not working as the temperature should be maintained at 55 degrees. While approaching Fond du Lac, I called Knope to see if they could get someone out to check on my furnace. This was around 2 in the afternoon that I made the call. I explained that I was in route but that I would have a neighbor open the house if I was not there. Knope said they would call me back. They called and said they had a technician on the way there. Within the hour they called me back and said that I had a bad heat exchanger. The tech and gotten the heat going and I should be good for the night and that they would be back in the morning to replace the unit. But the best news of all was that this was covered under warranty. I was pleasantly surprised as the unit was almost 10 years old. I was still in Appleton when I got this news so I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Knope's service. The next day the new unit was installed and is working perfectly. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend using Knope Heating and Air Conditioning as your service provider.

He replaced her front door with a new secure one and when it came time to sell the farm he replaced the GFCI outlets in the house and a few receptacles in the attic and barn all to meet code so we could sell on time. His appointment time frame was fast and arrived on time the day he did the work. He finished in a few hours and his pricing was more than reasonable. He did an excellent Job, thanks Mike!
