I came here because it was right across the street from the Turim Hotel. It's a fairly small restaurant. The service is pretty quick. Once I placed my order, it took about 2 minutes for our sandwiches and fresh juices to arrive. I ordered the piglet (roast pork) sandwich. It was pretty tasty and cheap to boot. The sandwich is not that big, but it's good enough for a quick snack. I also ordered their chicken soup. It was pretty good and really hit the spot. It looked like a bigger version of orzo. Either way, it was good. A tip that I learned from our tour guide. If you decide to eat at the counter, the cost will be lower. But if you eat at the table, they will normally charge you more. It's a nominal fee, but if you are watching your spending, then opt for the counter. Also, the potato chips they place on your table are 1 euro. So if you don't want to pay for it, just ask them to take it away or just don't eat it. Keep in mind that the chips have been sitting around and there are flies flying inside of the restaurant, so go at it at your own risk. I didn't realize this until we were done with it. It was pretty good though.

Visit this Place! Beautiful light fluffy rolls filled with a mixture of roasted piglet and crackling, this could be the ultimate sandwich. I had two and was ordering a third when my wife said enough, snuck back on the Sunday but it was closed. Thisw sandwich is worth visiting Lisbon for, I am already formulating excuses for a return. Very good juice for a decent price, right in the heart of Lisbon. Try out pineapple-orange and ask for the cold juice in the freezer ;)

Ham and omelette sandwich, hot chocolate, custard tarts.

Great quick breakfast at this typical place. Service was super fast and the guy speaks French and English. Ham and omelette sandwiches, fresh warm custard tarts. Fresh squeezed juices. Easy to get more food if you need it. 4 people ate well for 20 euros.

Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. Simple sandwiches, but all fresh ingredients. Perfect for a quick stop. Good service as well.

A great healthy and affordable place downtown that is very similar to your California hipster…read morehealth bars. Decent choice of salads, paninis, juices and smoothies. When we were there about an hour before closure, they did not have a lot of ingredients and could not fully make declared menu items. They also did not seem to be bothered by that at all, or offer you any substitutes without charging extra : ) After some back and forth and repeating/confirming our order, we still did not get what we wanted, but decided not to make a fuss about it. The food was fresh and tasty. Some interesting non-food additions to our salad bowls (like inedible flowers), but when in Lisbon... eat the flowers? : ) I got the strawberry ginger lemonade, and it was actually one of the best fresh drinks I have ever had. I highly recommend it - super tasty and refreshing. Overall, it was pretty good. One star down for customer service oopsies.

We explained we weren't interested and they continued to explain the health benefits of a massage. When we got upstairs, the masseuse was very nice but was cleaning the tables and we were offered her services, again. We waited an exorbitant amount of time for our food, and while the presentation was cute, the food was tasteless. I asked for a side of the granola just to have something to eat. The ambiance is cute, but unfortunately that's all I give it.

Outstanding Sandwich and Service. We got lucky with the wait times (yes we went several…read moretimes)...price point is great...definitely worth the time...you will love it. Oh! Don't forget to add the sauces...these add even more great flavor...the hot sauce can be a little warm but not too much. We tried both with and without cheese. For the location...a cool little area of Lisbon in which we stayed across the street. Having another today before we head out.

As I continue to slowly get through the large list of review drafts I wrote when I was in Portugal,…read moreat this point, a bit over 3 months ago, in no particular order... this was one of two places that ended up on my list of places I had to try a famous bifana sandwich when I was in Lisbon, the other being O Trevo the next day. To both of them equally I say, there are very few places I'd be willing to stand in line for an hour for, and few of them involve meat on bread. Luckily, being the off-season, I didn't have *any* wait to order a sandwich. Unluckily, being the off season, that's also because it kept raining off and on, and this is a strictly take-out affair. So I ended up eating the sandwich under a nearby awning. In nicer weather conditions, though, there are plenty of nearby benches to sit on right there. Would i wait in a long line? I would not. But it was a legitimately great sandwich, great fluffy bread, great cheese if you splurge on cheese (as of a couple months ago, they were 3.5 euro without cheese, 5.5 with cheese), and solid, juicy, meaty meat, even if I do *personally* prefer the thin-sliced version like the other place I went, did. For how filling they are, that'd make them pretty darn affordable, if you don't add cheese, which I would probably keep doing anyway if I lived here, I'd just go when it was the off-season and not busy, *and* not raining*. At least as of when I was there, being a takeout place, they didn't have much in the way of drinks, but there was an unrelated business in the next alcove over selling cheap large glasses of beer and large blended fruity pineapple drinks. p.s. Make sure to absolutely douse your sandwich in mustard and chili oil, if you like spicy food like I do. They're self-serve, and great.
