In years and decades past, you had to have a business license or a guest pass from one of the showrooms for entry. Gold seemingly making a huge comeback and never really goes out of style. Looking to treat myself. I set a budget going in. I also did a fairly exhaustive search on eBay to get baseline pricing numbers for my chain before arriving. Humbled-honored to meet really sweet couple Nilo & Gul Mohammed, owner-proprietors of "A One Imports," located on Lower Level, along with all of the other showrooms. They've been here 40 years serving customers. And, they had precisely what I had come to look for in my desired piece...at what I must say was a very fair (borderline incredible?) price, comparatively speaking. And trust me, I compared. Same necklace retail at--say Macy's, Zale's, Kay's, Amazon (cheap stuff) or even eBay would've been hundreds, possibly up to $1K more by weight, design and markup. Mrs. Mohammed (Nilo) works hard to stay within your budget, making sure you're a completely satisfied customer in the end. Check some of the other showrooms if you must, but make sure you at least include A One Imports for comparison before settling on your final purchase(s). I've been married for a month now, and just noticed there was a diamond missing from my wedding band. I have a beautiful ring my husband paid a lot of money for so I want it to be perfect. I literally went to see A One Imports a day after noticing there was a missing diamond on the band. Gull the owner backs his products 100%. After speaking to Gull's wife I was told the tiny prong holding the band had broken. I wasn't sure how after a month of wearing my ring this would happen. Especially on a strong platinum band. This caused one of the diamonds on the band to fall out. I sit in an office all day and how this happened was a shock to me. Long story short I received a call from Gull's wife and was told it would cost me $55 dollars for a tiny repair. At first I wasn't happy about it and she agreed to waive the fee but did state it was coming out of her pocket. This did not sit well with me. So after much thought and a quick lunch I went back to A One Imports to get more information. The wife said she would think I would be more understanding. She was very nice at all times. The fact the money was brought up again was apparently an issue so I paid it. I did think it was silly considering my husband paid $$$ thousands of dollars for my ring. I was thanked and called a sweetheart for my gesture, and offered a can of chocolates which I refused. A thank you gift was not necessary at this point.
