Our patio cover was finished weeks ago and we couldn't be happier. Steve, Dustin, and the rest of the crew are such great people to work with. They're always friendly, outgoing, and hard working. They went above and beyond with many things for us that many companies would have charged extra for or simply told us they would not do. We even messaged Steve after the patio cover was completed because of a request that we forgot to make (totally our own fault) and he said that he would come out and fulfill the request free of charge. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Let me start this review with a wow. Steve came out to my house to measure and was very informative and gave me the best recommendation possible for the patio cover. He gave me an honest time frame as the company is very busy. Steve then called me 2 weeks later and offered me a day 3 weeks sooner than expected which was amazing! I just wanted to leave feedback on how pleased I am with the work that A-One Patio Covers did with regards to installing our patio cover. I first found out about them via online search, but right about the same time a contractor that we use at my job recommended a couple of patio cover installers to me. He said that he had a friend who lived in my neck of the woods who had used some outfit in Romoland, CA. Within that day I found out that the company his friend used was the same company that I had looked up online. Being that said, I added them to the list of four other contractors that I would eventually have come over and listen to our desired plan and then provide us with a quote. I had four of the five installers come to my property and one provided an online estimate. A-One was the last of the four to come over. And, as it stands now, I am so glad that I invited them to come. First, let me start with Sadie. She came exactly at the time that we had previously arranged. She took measurements, drew out a sketch and discussed with me so of the legalities and requirements to construct a patio as large as what we were asking for. We wanted a 55' x 12' Combo, two thirds solid and one third lattice. She said that would be no problem doing that, which kind of surprised me because two of the five said that they could only do a full solid cover for something this large. Sadie brought a case with her that had examples of the products that they would be using to construct the patio with. This included actual cross sections of the poles, lattice cross beams, LED lights as well as color samples. She was very pleasant and extremely thorough with her presentation. At this point, my mind was made up, as she covered some points that none of the others had. She discussed things like the recommended types of fans , fan size limits, dimmer switch location, electrical outlet location, number of poles required for a cover this large, legal distance the poles have to be from the pool water and the permit process. They allowed us to choose a two-color combination, while a couple of the other outfits said that they could only do one color choice. She made me aware that the permit "guestimations" that I had received from the others sounded to be quite over exaggerated. And she was absolutely right. The actual cost of the permit turned out to be less than a third of what the others had told me. And what really made me choose A-One was the fact that they were the only one of the five contractors that quoted a one day installation. The rest quoted three to four days. Now, the good part. The A-One crew of four showed up at my home promptly at 8 o'clock and from that point forward it was like watching poetry in motion. It was plain to see that these guys must do this all day every day. Each one had their own task going on which seemed to be seamlessly orchestrated with the rest of the workers, and at the pace they were moving, it was amazing to see that no one was getting in the others way. They were all extremely polite and very professional about the job at hand. When all was said and done we have a beautiful, long-awaited patio which meets our needs to a tee. The crew called me out to take a final look at the project before I paid them. We ended the deal with the handing over of the check, a handshake, and then poof, they were gone as soon as they arrived, with no residual signs of them ever being there. This was truly a great experience. Within just a short week and a half we have had four friends ask for their information with hopes of hiring them for their patio project.
