I've used rental companies before, and by far this one if the worst. When a rental company provides a proofing box to warm up food, they typically supply the sheet pans for inside the machine to put the trays of food on. Well this company rents them separately, but at no point made us aware of this. They have an after hours "Emergency Line" that we called over 30 times and the owners answer to me was " we answer the emergency phone the other 51 weeks of the year, this week we didn't", We that didn't help when I had to have people running up and down the street using neighbors ovens to try and serve warm food. The Smug owner then said, well I wont charge you for the proofing box. When asked how he was going to compensate me for having to hire neighborhood kids to run food all over the pace to warm it up, he said I'm not charging you for the proofing box (that i couldn't even use) and that's it. We've used A Party Pleasing Rental for our kids' graduation parties over the last few years. For 2023 we rented a 20x30 tent, tables/chairs; in the past we rented 20x20, chairs, and even a grill! I'll review this in four areas: the equipment, the backoffice service, setup, and breakdown. Rented equipment: The actual rented stuff was excellent: great condition, solid pieces. Exactly as expected and suited our needs perfectly, working within our budget. Backoffice: In deciding what we needed, they have always been great, and their advice "spot-on." Their internal team is great at communicating with calls to confirm when set up and break down would be, and flexible to our needs. Plus the three people I talked to over the period of time were really nice. Set-up: So easy. Explained what they were doing, put the tent exactly where I marked (and had to really fight against rocks to do so!), and were really nice but didn't stick around talking forever Break-down: Also REALLY easy, and very fast. Again, guys were really nice but not chatty in a way that got me stuck talking. From soup to nuts these guys rocked it. Having a backyard party for 100 people is stressful, but knowing that A Party Pleasing Rental took care of us was a big stress reliever! Very helpful and had a nice selection to choose from. I rented three 6 foot kid tables and 25 kids chairs. They helped me load up my car and unload it when it was very cold out. Made the process very easy and were accommodating with pickup and drop off times. Will definitely be using them again in the future for more rental needs! read more

Great service and everyone was so friendly. I called for an almost last minute rental and they made it happened. I did have to come back for a second trip but consider it's such last minute , I can't complain at all. Barbara was such a pleasure to work with there. I am so disappointed with this company. I called one month ago looking for a tent for Thanksgiving. They told me it would ok and it would not be a problem. I was told call back in the middle of October and they would come to the house and finalize the details. The gentlemen took my name and town down at the time. Today I just called and they said they to not come to my town and would not be able to accommodate me because they are "short handed." I am so upset. It makes me want to cry. It is hard to get anything one around the holidays to begin with and that is why I called so early. Is this how you do business!!! NOTHING was pleasing about my experience with "A Party Pleasing Rental". Starting with the surly woman on the phone when I placed the order which she ultimately got mostly wrong. (It was so wrong in fact that I felt the need to make a personal visit to the store to ensure that it was corrected.) But the coup de grace was when they came on Sunday-- a day early--to pick up the tent and tables. This party was given at a new house that was not occupied and we were just heading over to set up for a farewell lunch for the out of town guests when I got an angry call from the next door neighbor that a bunch of stuff had been thrown over by her property. Imagine my shock when I arrived to find the tent gone and the tables and bar that we were planning to use---all gone! Also, our things were thrown totally carelessly on the lawn and the back porch. The back yard looked like a bomb had gone off! As a result, we had guests arriving while we were still trying to replace everything that they had moved off the patio and had not bothered to put back. We had to scramble to find replacements for the tables that we were planning to use. WHAT a nightmare! And so embarrassing for us. They also lost the cover to my ice bucket which of course makes it totally useless. Obviously, never again :-( read more

I rented a high chair for my house guest. It was in a perfect condition and the price was very reasonable. The staff was courteous. I would definitely check out this place first if I need to rent anything in the future. read more
