I've been here once with my 2 small dogs and I felt like the grooming they both received looked great. The customer service was nice and the place seemed clean. I was excited to bring them back for a second appointment. I scheduled their appointment for 12 PM. I received a call at 1030 AM from the shop asking if I wanted to come in earlier than 12. I said "I will try to make it when I can." At 1201 I received a call from the shop asking when I was going to be there. The woman said, "I have been waiting since 1030. Are you almost here because I have to leave soon." I never promised to be there at a certain time other than their scheduled appointment which was at 12. Each of my dog's baths take at least half an hour so it did not make sense that she said she had to leave soon. Unprofessional and rude that this woman is frustrated that I did not come in earlier to accommodate HER. read more

I was referred to this groomer by my vet, Dr. Tanko. Because my past groomer moved on, I went to another groomer, unnamed, and my CoCo came home with 2 small "ulcers" (scratches) on her eyeball. So I was weary to go anywhere, but CoCo is a Pomeranian and HAS to be groomed! I am so grateful that I found A Pet Spa Groomer! Lisa did the best cut we've ever had! CoCo had some matts but Lisa found a way to still have CoCo's cut come out looking, similar to Boo, the famous Pomeranian. However, it was about $20 more than I'm used to spending. But I guess you can't put a price on piece of mind! I will continue to happily bring my dog there. read more

After today's experience, we are not definitely bringing back our puppy to this place. They were not able to do a full grooming on him, but still got charged for a full price. They only did a bath/trim around his eyes and got charged the same price that we have paid before for a full groom. We don't mind paying for the amount, but they should get the job done or somehow done. Or at least, let us know. After, calling to other different groomers, I'm so disappointed about this place integrity. I will definitely take my pup somewhere else. My pup still looks the same all fluffy. So my cat needed a bath, but where to take him? Most grooming salons only cater to dogs. Then I found this place. The location is a little tricky but easy enough to find once you've been in. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's not a large shop, but that makes it a more intimate experience/environment, and I'm ok with that. I've taken both my dogs and my cat in. They did a great job on all and didn't have an issue with my precise preferences. All of the animals were relaxed and happy when we arrived to pick them up. I love love love this Pet Spa! I had several recommendations for this place from friends and I regretfully ended up going somewhere less expensive. Big Mistake... That saying is true that you get what you pay for. I met Kala at Barktoberfest and after speaking with her, I just knew I'd be in good hands so I gave this place a try. I have a mini schnauzer and I wanted someone really good doing that type of cut. I've seen some things I didn't like at other places so I was very nervous about leaving her. Kala kept in touch with me, and even sent me a picture so I knew she was doing fine. Erica was her groomer and all I can say is WOW, what a difference. She looks absolutely beautiful and she did exactly what I asked for. She came out happy and I was ecstatic. Erica is so sweet, you can see she takes pride in her work. Her love of dogs is apparent. Love this groomer, absolutely the best! I have 3 dogs I routinely take to here for grooming, always, always friendly service. They are very kind to the dogs and take great care of them. I tried several groomers before finding A PET SPA and I will always keep them here. The owner is very caring, keeps notes on each dog and knows what they are afraid of or what they need to make them a little more comfortable and is always accommodating and gentle, especially with our blind dog who needs a little more care. We are new to the area, and we had always bathed our dogs at home. Due to the lovely black sand in our back yard, we decided it was time to take our dogs, Daisy and Diggory, to a "spa." We checked out Yelp reviews and luckily found A Pet Spa Grooming. Daisy went first. The staff acknowledged my concerns about this first for Daisy, and quickly got Daisy acclimated to the spa. When we picked her up, she was mot just beautiful, she was happy!! Diggory went the next day (a first for him, too). When we picked him up, he was too busy schmoozing with the staff to take note of his parents. He loved the staff!! We could not be more pleased with our experiences.
