Deserved no star but it wouldn't let me pick none! Worst customer service I've ever had. Very rude!! They came out and installed a garage door opener. When told a remote wasn't given... the arguing started... You ABSOLUTELY got one!! We've NEVER made that mistake in 20 years!! My husband has NEVER made a mistake EVER! The garage door opener company has NEVER not put a remote in a box EVER.... basically I'm lying!! When I called back and said it ABSOLUTELY wasn't here!! They called the warranty company to pay for one and brought it the next day. THEN... instead of disfusing the situation like a good businessman should..... he came to the house and said that I'm going to find it here and, I'll be calling to apologize when I do! He looked all over the garage the whole time he's getting the remote out of the box and talking to me. Like he's going to prove I'm a liar when he finds it!! Then I moved the car so he can see the whole garage like it was when he was here installing it. He said that I didn't have to...I told him if he was going to call someone a liar than I'll move the car and he can REALLY search the whole garage! He dismissed me every time I was talking and said what I said wasn't true ... I'm not a liar!!! Over $32.00 a good business man would of handled it like a man. I'm 81 .... My garage door broke and looked mangled to me. John was there within 2 hours and this was a Sunday morning. I was ready for a new door but John had my old door working good again within an hour. He told me that I didn't need a new door and he proved it by fixing several things that I didn't even know needed fixing. He done all of this at a very reasonable price. Called for an appointment and John said he was around the area and could stop by in about 15 min. I was worried this was going to cost me an arm and a leg. Hogan called me a little while later to say my garage just needed a service, adjusting and a lube. 30 min later the garage was working Again and it was only a service call. No extra fees. Called and asked for a free estimate that was in their ad in the phone book. At first the person on the phone seem very nice but when i asked about the free estimate she stated that i would have to pay a minimum of 115.00 which includes the service fee. Then again i asked about the free estimate and she stated again i would have to pay a minimum of 115.00. But i stated i only wanted the free estimate on the garage door being fixed and she got upset and hung up on me. This is a family run business and the wife runs the office and the husband does the work. So i tried to call her husband john and he refused to return my call. I would advise anyone not to deal with this company because they are rude and don't return calls. And they shouldn't be advertising free estimates if they are not really going to give you one. read more

Like anything convenient in life that makes things more convenient. Sometimes you don't realize how much those things make your dats easier. Well this weekend after long morning helping a friend with car trouble. When we finally drove home to change and go grab a bite (we were STARVING). We get home and go figure our garage door opens 1/4 of the way and closes, does this several times. I go inside to check the garage and the spring has broken. Not what we wanted at all to deal with. We are in and out a lot and we use our garage door a lot. We only lasted Sunday with leaving our car outside. Today, I called late in the day to a few places for pricing. They were higher than I thought. Right timing, my mom and dad gave me the number to A+ Garage Doors. I called right away, Gio answered. She was very friendly, did not give me the run around asking for pictures(likes others did, lame!). Explained what the problem was. She quickly knew how important the garage door is to her customers. Gio offered that someone could come out today. She gave me the name of the person that would be here, John. Which is her husband and she was helping him out taking calls. Good team work! I really did not expect them to be able to come out today since it was 4:30 because the day was pretty much done. So I jumped on it. She gave me a time between 5:30 to 7. I expected them at least by 7. They close at 6 and Gio is calling me to say they are almost here. Wait! They fit us in today and I called today?! What!Now they are going to be hear earlier than I thought. John and Gio are awesome!!! Super friendly. They both got their gear down and went straight to work. The whole time having a conversation with my wife and I. John and Gio went above what we thought was just replacing the springs. My garage opener was improperly installed the entire time. John noticed it. He didn't have to address that problem since that wasn't what why he was here. We really appreciate their pro-activeness. Thanks! John and Gio you guys went above our expectation. I'm embarrassed to say that the door was broken for so long that the ivy was grown completely over the door so that it wouldn't even open. It was probably 4 feet thick and they cut it for me! Our garage door spring broke this morning as the door was closing causing the door to come off the track and mess up the cables. I had pretty much resigned myself to waiting beyond Labor Day weekend for it to be fixed but then I had the good sense to check Yelp and found A Plus Garage Doors and their awesome rating. I called and explained my issue and was treated absolutely fantastic by them and received an extremely fair price for the work that would have to be done. They called me back soon thereafter and said that John would be there by 3:00 to do the repairs. I received a call around 2:30 from John (extremely apologetic) saying that the job he was on was going longer than expected and he would be there by 3:30 (definitely not a problem . . . we've all been there). The springs were replaced quickly and professionally. My wife and I were both impressed by their stellar customer service and quality of work.
