Today I went in with a friend to get our toes done. Both people did not speak good English, and unfortunately her toes were a little messy with bubbles and lines in her gel polish, we left respectfully and went to another salon to get our nails done. I usually have great experiences here, but every once in a while, I'm not impressed with the service nor the owner/manager. I will give it to them that they were busy and I'm sure that it does not help but people come here and pay good money for service and that's what I expect.

I finished at 12 PM. I sat and waited while someone else was in the seat being serviced by Lou now it is 1 o'clock and I have not been seen by Lou. There was apparently a huge language barrier, and the woman doing my nails was not understanding what i was saying. I told her I wanted to keep them stiletto shaped, just a bit shorter. She cut them down a little, and it seemed like it was going to be fine. And somehow I ended up with all the gel off and my natural nails are incredibly short, flimsy and splitting. I have to start all over now... I started crying in the chair once I realized because I was shocked. I said "too short" and she just kept saying something like "yes, long beautiful"... like what???? Never going back. Never cheating on my nail guy again.

I get my nails done every two weeks in CA so I wasn't sure what to expect in Salisbury. I was so pleasantly surprised. They had a gazillion colors and the deluxe pedicure/massage was exactly what I needed from a full day of travel. I will definitely come back next time I am in town!
