I had A+ Pest conduct a termite inspection on a home I was interested in purchasing. The inspection was completed prior to the home inspection being completed. The termite report indicated that the house had "No visible Evidence of Wood destroying Insects" and "No Signs of Previous Infestation or Treatment Visible". I got my home inspection back and it included pictures of the main girder and multiple floor joists in the crawl space showing signs of termite damage with large portions of the 2x8s being eaten away. Additionally, buried around the perimeter of the home are probably 8 termite stations. I cant not believe that a company conducting termite inspections would miss such obvious damage and signs. The inspection cost me $100 in total and I could have performed a more thorough inspection. I truly believe that the inspector didn't even enter the crawl space of the home. If you are in the Knoxville/East TN area I would use anyone else but this company. read more

The two words that best describe A Plus Pest Solutions are dishonest and unprofessional. I closed on a house recently and the seller paid for 2 bug treatments. One was completed before closing and the other was to be scheduled for 2 weeks later per the instructions provided by APPS. In the past week I have called APPS 5 times (leaving messages) and texted 4 times to try and schedule the follow up treatment (which they have ALREADY received payment for). APPS didn't answer or return any of my calls. They replied to my first text and then ghosted me. Very disheartening to see this level of customer disdain from a local business. Called and had them come spay my house, was told to give it a couple weeks . They guaranteed their work and after a couple weeks if there was an issue to give them a call back. Well we still had an issue with ants so we called, and called and kept calling after weeks of getting the run around and being told they will call us back we have never heard back from them. If it was the money I would of paid more for a second spray but just ask ! I would stay away from using these guys ! read more

On November 2 2022 we had a termite inspection done by A+ Pest Solutions. On the report it was not checked that there was visible termite damage. It wàsnt until after we closed on the house that this was noticed. I contacted a different termite inspector (third party) and he agreed it should have been seen and documented on the letter and graph. I have received a rough quote to fix the termite damage on the walls and it will be $15,000-$20,000. The pictures taken were by the home inspector the same day. Today December 20 2022. Mark from A+ Pest Solutions came by to look at what he missed and stated he is refusing to pay anything for it. I explained I would have never bought the house if it was documented in the letter and graph that there was termite damage in the walls. No "tubes" were marked on the graph at any location. Not only do I think that he should replace the damaged area but he should also lose his license to perform termite inspections. He said he had 18 years of experience and he should be able to competently point out damage. read more
