First of all the cheapest wash is 22.00, which I gladly will pay for a good car wash because I'm disabled and can't do it myself any more. But after I went through the car wash it was obvious that it never touched the back of my car. I complained and they had me go through it again. Which did nothing different. Extremely condescending employees. I don't expect much from an automatic wash, but it is absolutely horrendous.

It's simple and easy. Very nice staff. Always let me know if I forget the magnets on the back, I have been remembering them lately. The times are decent too that they are open. I try not to come at peek hours since I try to do a good job at cleaning the interior of my truck. read more

DFS location: It's a nice place but that's trumped by the fact that they have staff outside talking to customers and not one wears a mask. Incredibly irresponsible. Also, did they ever think to put up a sign reading "Put vehicle in park and remove foot from brake" so the staff isn't tapping on the window and talking to each customer? I have washed my car here 4 time. First 2 times I bought the $10 and wasn't pleased. Next 2 time I bought the $15 just in case I would be satisfied and nope. The air drier sucks! You still have to towel dry it yourself. The vacuums are okay I mean they do the job. I won't be coming back. Going to see what other car wash is better. I really thought this was going to be my spot after moving to Florida. read more

This is a very well run car wash with super helpful and friendly staff. Their prices are kind of high ($15 for the best wash they have, and $6 for the basic) but their monthly rate ($35) is worth it for unlimited washes. As for the quality of wash, it is awesome. Once you go through the actual wash building you can use their vacuums for free. The vacuum they use is also a good quality one unlike the low suction ones you find at some car washes. Also in the vacuum area they have a good window cleaner for you to use and plenty of towels to do a final detail touch up of your car. Overall A Proper Wash is my go to car wash in the area and as long as I live here it will continue to get my business. read more

My husband and I brought the unlimited wash plan. We live on a sandy road. Sometimes I go twice a week. Gets all the sand out of the brakes and wheels. No money needed at time of wash . Just 39.00 drafted from our bank account. If you went everyday it cost less than paying 10.00 a visit . It's the deluxe wash. My clients like to go to see the different colored soaps. I have been a patron since they opened. I have a monthly pass sticker on every car we own. That is a total of 4 monthly stickers. With the sicker we are allowed to drive through the car wash once a day. I always get the top of the wash that is like $20 something bucks each wash so I save a ton of money. Today I took a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT that I just purchased from a friend. That car was filthy! Anyway, since I'm used to the monthly pass on my Super Duty truck I never roll down the window. Today I was in a car I wasn't familiar with. I chose the $7 basic wash. I put my credit card in the bill exchanger by accident. I waved the staff member to please assist. He let my through but told me he had to call the manager at home and ask him to come because he had the cash box key. By the time I pulled in to the vacuuming area, the manager, Steve, was on site already working on my issue. He retrieved my card and assured me I wasn't an idiot for doing it. I felt pretty stupid. Anyway, we chatted for a bit about cars etc. He was prompt and really understanding. His on duty team was just as helpful. The moral to my experience is: All of these automated car washes, that are popping up everywhere, are not the same. read more

Charlie as I like to call him teddy bear is a very friendly and funny guy and just like Mr. White he is extremely caring. I always get the Ultimate car wash monthly pass for $35 a month you can go to the car wash as many times as you want. And after the carwash you get a free vacuuming .There vacuum cleaning system is extremely strong not like a lot of car places that have low suction the vacuum system has high suction. I was one of their first monthly pass customers and have never been disappointed honestly. So come to the proper wash in Niceville across from Walmart. I usually go to the tropical in bluewater bay. But i decided to try this new one out. It is a very nice car wash, but it is the exact same as bluewater and more expensive. After my car got out of the tunnel i went to use the free vacuums. As im elbow deep in my car vaccuming, the manager scares the shit out of me by yelling at me "how im doing" to get my attention. After i told him i was good he persisted to ask me multiple questions about how my wash was. And also kept trying to sell me a monthley pass plan that is the dumbest thing in the world. After 15 minutes of asking me small talk questions he finally left me alone. before he left he shook my hand (which was a nice gesture) if he wasnt so sweaty. And then moved on to the next customer to bother. Considering the tropical wash is cheaper, doesnt bother when you cleaning your car, and it is the exact same wash "literally", im going to keep going there. So unless you want to be annoyed by the employees and have them guide you into the railing system smiling like complete idiots, then go there. I guess the manager tells them to smile like that or else they will get fired. So i guess the manager is a micro managing asshole. read more
