Had stopped by two other landscaping places. One has scheduled and cancelled a bid twice. The other hasn't yet called back (3 days). So I stopped by Quality Plant this morning and 8 new palms have been planted by 1:00 PM. I know they can't usually do same day service but I was lucky. Pricing and service was great. Not happy to update my review so quickly but considering I have wasted two days and still have yet to have the tree installed I feel like I must. Last week I had high hopes the in person experience was great however I was told that the tree would either be installed Friday or Saturday and would get a call the day before. No call Thursday no tree or call Friday. Called on Saturday they did not call me I had to call them. Was informed that the tree would be installed Monday. Still no tree and no call about it being installed. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication and lack of tree. I understand if it needs to be put off but at least communicate with me that this will occur because it is a waste of a day waiting around. I was then told late on Monday it would be Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and again no communication. We then communicated to cancel and the worst part they did not even seem to care. Polite but they clearly were not interested in our business now or in the future. Very upsetting because I and my family would have been regular customers both for their property and when I become a homeowner. Would not recommend to anyone read more

A Quality Plant has completed several landscaping projects for us. Our original landscaping was the typical "builder's grade". The same landscaping as the other homes in the development. Nothing spectacular. I wanted something unique and mostly importantly....PALMS! We had decorative stones around our plants in our front beds that never controlled the weeds. We drove by A QUALITY PLANT on 19th Street and was amazed by the selection and variety of palms and plants. Rob was there and after having a discussion with him about our needs, he followed us home to Harbour Isles to view our property. We were amazed with his capability to visualize a finished project. It took a day to remove the decorative rock and existing plants and a couple of days for my front yard to have a full tropical make over with a variety of plants and PALMS!. And, in a few months later, Rob put in 7 huge Queen Palms before we fenced in our back yard. Our backyard includes a large pond and faces west. Attempted to speak with someone regarding pricing and was met with a very rude and curt man who answered the phone. I will not do business with this company customer service is paramont I don't care how " Good" your quality is. Prices are also higher than other nurseries I've found. Spoke to Rob on the phone on Monday afternoon. Went up to see the trees on Tuesday morning. By 4 PM Tuesday they were planted in my yard. We got a beautiful Canary Island Date palm, a triple trunk Fox Tail and 2 Pygmy Date palms. Delivered and planted the price is about what everyone else charges just for the tree. Great price but what I did not realize at the time is that it would cost me a lot more after. They tore apart my sprinklers and could not fix them so I had to call in another professional at a tune of $600. The soil was not preped properly and I have been battling weeds ever since so now I have to have that treated professionally because 3 bottles of round up can't keep up with it. Lastly he says it is guaranteed but I have been trying for 2 months to get them to check one of their plantings for me and after repeated attempts get no response. I have been very patient and tried to give them them a chance to redeem themselves even after the sprinkler situation but at this point I am frustrated. Received a good amount of plantings for my money but would have paid more to have a true guarantee and it done with impeccable finishings. read more

Having lost our beautiful pineapple palm to beetles, we were disappointed with some of our local nurseries. Went on line and contacted Rob of A Quality Plant. He sent us pictures of a new pineapple palm to replace ours. His price was wonderful (beat all other estimates). Our tree was delivered and installed 2 weeks ago (old tree was removed also). It was a very professional removal and installation. Plants surrounding the tree were undisturbed. Rob also educated us as to how to care properly for the tree. It is absolutely gorgeous. do not purchase plants or trees from this outfit, they do not back their products and insult you with the reasons why. my tree is half dead and their response was that they told me it would not do good, baloney!!! why would i not pick another type tree. they are the experts! i am out $200 for a defective tree. read more
