One of the things I enjoy most is being able to walk around aimlessly and explore the wide variety of trees and plants they offer. Every visit feels a little different depending on the season, and I love seeing what new plants and flowers are available. I've always had positive experiences with the employees--they're friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. This is my go-to spot when I'm looking for milkweed to support butterflies or when I want to find a new, beautiful plant to attract bees. My one small complaint is that some items can be priced a bit higher compared to other places, so I occasionally shop around depending on what I'm looking for. That said, the quality and variety often make it worth the extra cost. Overall, Kerby's is a great nursery with an impressive selection, knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. They have an outside and indoor section with a large variety of plants. They have a big parking lot in front so parking isn't an issue. I highly recommend checking them out.

The botanical gardens are larger than they look and have many different paths to meander along. They are pet friendly. My pup and I strolled along the paths and took breaks at a couple of the many benches placed about to stop and enjoy the views. They have a nursery with some wonderful looking plants you can buy. There were a couple I wanted but wouldn't make the rest of my road trip. Parking and the park is free. They do accept donations and they also have volunteer opportunities. This was a great spot to spend the morning.
