I love my baby Bert; he has brought so much joy to our lives. When I received him, I waited an extra couple of weeks to pick him up, so he was slightly older and larger than the standard pickup time. However, he adjusted to our home very quickly, and within a couple of days, he was eating and playing normally. He's the sweetest cat and was so gental with foster kittens we brought in last year. He's a joy at the vet and was totally comfortable around our other cat they were best friends within hours. Lori was great and communicated with me through the process as I was nervous when he wasn't eating night one. She reassured me and checked in on his progress. Everyone that sees him complements his beauty and fluffy coat he's so well behaved he's even gone into the office with me! Hi Lori and Dawn, Ken and I wanted to contact you to tell you how much we are enjoying our little kitten #5! We named her "Pepsi" because we thought that name captured her sweet and impish nature and describes the brown and white of her beautiful coat. She is an absolute darling and has fit so easily into our home. Everyone comments on how unusual and beautiful she is especially since she comes up to visitors and wants to be petted. She slept with us the first night and has been absolutely wonderful each and every day since. Pepsi and our older male Snowshoe "Monkey" are getting along beautifully. They have just started actually playing with each other; not sleeping together yet but I am sure that will come soon. Monkey is much happier now with a new friend. Pepsi's coat is getting more beautiful every day! Her dark stripes, ears and tail are getting darker and darker while the white stripes are getting more pronounced. She now has lovely white swirls on her sides and is developing stripes on her tail and the beautiful stripes on her legs and face are getting more and more lovely. Her temperament is very sweet, loving, affectionate and playful all in the same little package! We truly just adore her. She has helped us and Monkey as well who was terribly depressed after we had to put down our old, old dog. I want to especially mention what a wonderful job Dawn has done with Pepsi's socialization. She is just wonderful and though judiciously cautious, seems to not be afraid of anything. Such a good job Dawn! Thank you so much! Pepsi's wonderful breeding really came out when we picked her up at the airport, where she seemed actually happy to see us and not too afraid either. She rubbed and nibbled my fingers through the crate on the way home in the car. We do want to especially thank you for being willing to ship her to us. You are not just breeding cats, but creating real love for each home you send one of your sweeties to! Pepsi is having some gas and diarrhea on the Friskies canned food. We took her to see the vet and she suggested a prescription cat food which does seem to clear things up. She had no worms or anything else the vet could find. Did she have any problems before? We thought she had been on Fiskies but could have been mistaken. Do you have any advise for us? Otherwise, everything seems great. Any way, boy, is she growing! Looks like she might be on the big side but she is so sweet, I'm sure she will not overpower our Monkey. We wouldn't want him to have any hurt feelings. I have forwarded your private letter to TICA, Better Business Bureau, Google Cattery reviews, PA Ragdoll and others. Further, I am appalled by your "customer response" on Yelp (presumably sent to "me" (?) followed by the defaming/damaging email you sent privately to my personal email this morning.). This too has been forwarded to my lawyers and I will seek out other recourse with the support of the vets and county judges, small claims court, etc. Doing my due diligence, I did record both of your phone calls regarding the 24 hour delay for the kittens checkup due to the covid pandemic. And we are currently reviewing the reports from your "vet" to see if there's a pattern of "rubber stamping" your cattery's health records upon sale. *** This is the initial letter sent to Lori Parsons just a few days after we picked up our ragdoll kittens: A Ragdoll to Love I hope you can imagine how absolutely heartbroken and devastated I am. I have longed for ragdoll kittens for years and when I discovered your cattery, I trusted what you wrote, Lori, and bought three! You cannot convince me that your vet did not detect the heart murmur, did not see the discrepancy in size between the two brothers from the same litter, and did not notice the undescended testicle when that particular kitten weighed almost 6 pounds. This was an egregious, deceptive, unconscionable act on your part. After one week, I am deeply attached and involved with these three beautiful kittens. Knowing they are unwell and sold to me as defective Ragdolls. A shameful, heartless scam. Despite advice from my attorneys and other veterinarians who have become involved, I have decided to keep them. Knowing full well that I will have ongoing and serious medical expenses. Not to mention the heartache of the uncertainty of their life suffering and life expectancy. *** A Ragdoll to Love Lori, Yesterday was two weeks since I officially picked up the three kittens from Laura Haak, A Ragdoll to Love, in Annville, PA. By now you are well aware of the medical diagnoses/prognosis of the three kittens. Yesterday, The Cat Hospital in Media, PA, Dr. Mills Peltz further evaluated and tested all three kittens again, repeating many of the concerns and findings of the initial appointment. It is worth noting that other veterinarians in the practice have been aware and shocked by the condition of the three kittens, as well. The smallest LYNX MINK (2 lbs.) has currently failed to gain more than 1 ounce in two weeks. Of concern currently is whether this kitty will survive at all. She has also been put on new, second course of antibiotics as she came to us being quite sickly. All three were placed on doxycycline for infections. It is with deep sadness and helplessness as we watch this little kitty struggle, seemingly without any resolution. The larger bi-color Ragdoll, the 6 pound kitten, still has a testicle which has not descended - and it won't at this stage. We will be scheduling a Portosystemic shunt repair which is costly, potentially painful and will create suffering for this poor kitten. Moreover, he is suffering from chronic weepy eye caused by infection with feline calicivirus or feline herpesvirus possibly. Since the antibiotic has been ineffective since he was seen two weeks ago, he will now have to be placed on Prescription: CidofaDrops (Cidofovir) Ophthalmic Solution (compounded)....a very expensive medication from a compound pharmacy and even this course may NOT resolve the weepy eye. He currently takes the CIDOFAdrops in conjunction with antibiotic ointment. Still no resolution. The third kitten's heart murmur, (the tortie) has not diminished at all which is more concerning to this vet. She will now need blood work to stage the murmur and an electrocardiogram. Who knows or can predict what the outcome will be for this kitten going forward? I am currently researching and examining the documents and signatures from your vet, *****V.M.D., in Lebanon, PA as I have conferred with other vets, etc. from The Cat Hospital. My next step is to contact TICA to question whether there are other past/present problems with your cattery, the validity of dates, and this litter with Sire: RIDGEVIEWRAGS KINGS LEO and Dam: MISFIT (A Ragdoll to Love.) After investigating complaints, reviews and other remedies, I feel I have no choice but to pursue the loss legally. I know one complainant from A Ragdoll To Love pursued the issue with the police, small claims court and, eventually, the FBI. I have also been in contact with the Better Business Bureau who is requesting all records and payments. The situation with these kittens has broken my heart and I will continue to pursue this aggressively. read more

We bought a kitten from the Annville, Pa location of A Ragdoll To Love in February 2022. We absolutely loved him. He was so sweet and adventurous. Within a few months though he got sick. After several months of vet visits, tests, and a few thousand of dollars of bills, he was diagnosed with dry FIP. We had to watch as he slowly went downhill, until he was barely able to move his back legs. He was euthanized less than a year from the time we bought him. We spent thousands of dollars and all we have to show for it is heartbreak. Doing some research, I see there are several other families who have had the same experience. There is clearly a problem here. I contacted the company twice to discuss this and have had no response from them. They know it's a problem and they are not interested in fixing it. I sincerely hope that potential buyers see this review and it can help keep them from experiencing the same loss, both emotional and financial, that our family has experienced. read more

The website allows you to email or text the breeder for adoption. I was in contact with Laura via email and told her about myself, my home, and lifestyle (as it says on the website). I chose my kitten and later that day I received pictures and a video of him, already being called by his name! She sent many more throughout the following weeks/months. Receiving these updates allowed my fiancé and I to witness his transformation and our love of him to grow. The contract for adoption and instructions for veterinary care were sent via email along with pick-up time slots. ARagdollToLove was very professional. Laura and her family displayed immense dedication and affection towards the kittens. Randall was definitely socialized, cared for, and spoiled! I cannot describe the joy Randy brings us but his adoption process I can say was exceptional. read more

A complete and utter nightmare. Our cat of 9 months has FIP. When we picked up both of our kittens from this cattery, there were 20 cats running around (not an exaggeration), and full liter boxes in a very small unsafe and cluttered environment. Several tiny kittens were climbing all over the place. We were more than a little taken back. On top of that, they never had our cats vaccinated, nor did even see the vet for the first 13 weeks! When we questioned that, we were told that Ragdolls are healthy and there is no need to take them before 13-14 weeks. That's not true! It costs them money to take them, that's why! The first night we brought them home, we had to bring one of our our kittens to the emergency vet (I have paperwork and texts) . He was not well, and had diarrhea for weeks. I immediately contacted them, and they said he had never had diarrhea at their house, and that it must have been a change in environment. But, we questioned how they would even know with that may cats going in one box?? RUN FROM THIS PLACE! We almost turned around and left when we saw these conditions. but, we had fallen in love with our kittens and drove 4 hours to pick them up. We had no idea based on her website that these are the conditions. Oddly, we didn't even pick them up at Lori's cattery. We received an address hours away from her. We paid $1,300 for a kitten that has cost us $4,600 (yep, you read that right) and counting because of their horrid living arrangements for these vulnerable kittens. The worst part is when I reached out to Lori she blamed others. This is what she said: "I was unaware of their practices nor were they communicating with myself to keep me informed of any issues or problems they may have had. As they were not following the beliefs and practices of my cattery, I terminated their association with my cattery, and they are no longer allowed to use my cattery name or logo in any way. This experience is not acceptable in any way, shape, or form. As I have learned about their poor practices, I was shocked and unable or willing to tolerate this negligence toward their customers and kittens. This is not nor has ever been my standard, and I will never let this behavior or carelessness continue. We have worked for over 12 years to produce the best quality kittens possible and that is our only goal." WHAT?? We purchased the kittens from Lori!! Looks like she's admitting to falsely advertising her cattery as something it was not. She sold us the kittens, we paid her and were told to pick them up at another address! She has no idea what conditions the kittens that she advertised and collected money for are living in?? This is crazy. Look on Complaintsboard.com. Cats are dying from FIP from this cattery. A kitten/cat are vulnerable to FIP in overcrowded catteries and sharing liter boxes with several cats. This cattery should be shut down, due to their irresponsible handling of dozens of cats in a very small space. FIP can never be avoided with cats/kittens, but the risk factors can definitely be decreased immensely with responsible cattery's. A Ragdoll to Love is not one of them. Unfortunately, we learned a hard lesson. read more

I am the one who asked to see vet papers and vet information because all I got was a paper with tractor supply shot stickers on it like a back yard breeder would do, it was not the vet records you'd expect from a fancy cattery charging thousands of dollars for the kittens. Vet records were never asked of me. I asked so my vet could call yours. I also asked if I could bring him by so you could see his condition. His entire deterrieration was within a month of getting him I had no time to enjoy him. I stated how distraught I was and I was completely ignored. didn't get a text back or a call didn't get asked how he was doing or for more information. Everything she wrote in response was a lie the entire interaction was by text. I can prove it to anyone who would like to see it. Also I didn't mean they were breeding for size, I meant they lied about his age to me. She would happily update me on how he was doing each week and I could see him grow and become the playful boy he is now. I'm very happy with my boy Luka! The process of getting a cat was easy and exciting , they are very strict about releasing the cat into your care no less than 14 weeks. By that time,the cat is already litter trained, already eating on her own and necessary vaccines are already completed and the cat transitions better at 14 weeks. And most importantly ,my cat was raised in a home where she can roam around freely with the family and their other pet. My breeder spent time to send me pictures and updates while waiting on 14 weeks. My cat adjusted very well the moment she came into our home. Very disappointed. Our kitten was sick and underweight and cost us a fortune in vet bills. I notice this breeder has taken down her Google business and does not allow reviews on her old Facebook page. All red flags. Look elsewhere and save yourself the heartache we've been though. Of course we love our kitten but he is facing an entire lifetime of daily meds to keep the viruses he brought with him under controlled. He has suffered immensely and he's finally stable and gaining weight but this is not what one should receive when spending large amounts of money on a pedigree registered kitten from a so-called responsible breeder. She refuses to communicate completely after the sale. Shame on you. UPDATE: I got notification email that someone else replied and rated this breeder which prompted me to go and watch the video she posted. She never reached out or offered anything to us. She is a pathological liar. And her old google reviews mentioned multiple kittens dying as this other reviewer has posted as well. Please be careful. Only buy from a breeder with good reviews. She took down her Google business so that others can not see her bad reviews. I noticed something else very fishy. She only has one litter listed as available on her website but she has many for sale on YouTube? What's that about? We too received a sick kitten from a ragdoll to love. The kitten presented conjunctivitis symptoms, but unfortunately he had a fatal illness. The vet determined that he had a compromised immune system from birth. This led to an illness that is normally curable becoming fatal, and it was extremely traumatic for me. After thousands of dollars in vet bills, many sleepless nights giving him many medications and even teaching myself to give fluids through a needle, the kitten had to be euthanized when the illness effected his nervous system. It was a very difficult ending. I've never experienced something so awful and even a year later it hurts me when I think about it. To the breeders credit, she did supply another kitten as retribution when I told her about the vet's findings and the kitten's passing. She did not cover any vet bills so I was still out thousands of dollars. It's not in her contract to do that. I want to be transparent and honest in my review. The subsequent kitten provided has grown up to be a healthy, wonderful cat. He's affectionate, beautiful and a very valued member of our home, but after seeing the other comment, I felt compelled to post my experience. I sometimes go to her page to just look at the kitten photos because I love the breed and saw her response video and got curious what the complaint was. Recently, we got another ragdoll from another breeder because I didn't want to chance getting another sick kitten. After that experience I will not purchase any more kittens from here. read more
