Kerry Pawn is a neat little place in Vanier where you can find very cheap electronic items and musical instruments. They have lots of computer parts - keyboards, monitors, speakers, etc. But, it is also a great place to find computer game hardware too - which is awesome if you are shopping for kids. And, I found a sweet iPod there too. If you are feeling the pinch this year but still want your kids to get everything they want, try Kerry Pawn!

My friend, on the other hand, had to return one or two Playstation 2 consoles she bought here before she could get one that worked. I also often go here for DVDs and video games. The games are $12 (2 for $20) and the movies are $6 (2 for $10). They have an extensive collection of both. Yeah, this place is pretty dirty and the service is rarely good. Maybe the fact that this is a pawn shop shouldn't excuse this, but I can't help but feel I'm getting what I'm expecting.
