The original wedding date was supposed to be October of 2020 but we all know how that went wrong. Dawn was so amazing. She even took me dress shopping. This woman PICKED MY DRESS. It was hilarious. There I was, trying on what I thought I wanted, and she sends in a dress saying, "to try it on, just for her, even though it wasn't exactly what I was looking for." I looked at the dress on the hanger and though, "OK, I'll try it on for her, but this is definitely not the dress." I put it on and immediately had tears in my eyes. She had found me the perfect dress and I would have never even tried it on without her! That shows you just how amazing her skill is in finding you what you really want, not just what you think you want. Our first date got rescheduled, then it happened again.... And again. Freaking Covid-19! We even decided to just call it off because of the stress of Covid and the wedding. Everything was a mess, like most people during 2020. Dawn was amazing and supportive through it all. I know she was my wedding planner but I saw her as much more of a friend than just a planner. She talked me through soo much and she couldn't have been more understanding about the cancelation after the multiple delays. When my husband and I finally worked through all of the covid stress and were ready to tie the knot Dawn was our first call. She put together our perfect micro-wedding in a matter of weeks. She had back up plans for her back up plans so that, if anything went wrong, we were covered. We had our dream day and to top it all off Dawn was our officiant! She wrote the perfect ceremony for us and kept it the length we wanted. It was everything we could have ever wanted. We are going to be having a big wedding once it is safe to do so and I can't wait! I opted in for the Day of Coordinator because I had already selected all of my other vendors. I also paid extra to have Coastal Coordinating put out my florals that I created. Chloe was MIA minutes before the ceremony - the venue had to stick me in a random room to avoid being seen by the groom. Chloe or one of her helpers broke one of my pillars (decor) and proceeded to put it in the ceremony instead of informing me or leaving it out - it looked so awful. Half the florals I had arranged for the reception weren't put out despite paying extra for this service - my bridesmaids and I were the ones having to put them out while guests were lining up to enter the space. The owner is VERY unprofessional and never bothered trying to have a conversation with me about my experience. Instead she made up lies as an excuse for providing such poor service. I did not have a single problem with any of my other vendors. Would not recommend Coastal Coordinating.
