New bats are super expensive, so we have been checking Goodwills. ***LOCATION*** Plenty of parking out front in the strip center lot! ***EXPERIENCE*** I just walked in and walked directly to the sports things. I found a baseball bat (yay) for 4$! So I went to checkout and saw the checkout line got fancy! They have an organized line with little shelves of stuff like normal stores, for some last min impulse purchases! They had some good things! I like that they had new items too. They had a stock of measuring scoops, which I picked up as well because he also just moved to a new place and didn't have any measuring tools, which has been a pain when I try to cook there! So for a couple of dollars, I grabbed a new pack! They also have snacks and drinks. Idk about y'all but Goodwill does not increase my appetite. I always feel the need to urgently wash my hands when leaving, so I doubt I'd ever grab a bag of chips at the checkout, but love that they had some things like that, that I have never seen before. ***STAFF*** Normal, just a quick checkout interaction. ***PRICE*** A bat for 4$ is a steal haha ***FOOD/DRINKS*** Well they do have them if you get hungry lol. ***CONCLUSION*** A basic Goodwill. The manager is super professional with excellent follow-up. This store is organized and clean - I have never seen things strewn about like I have at some other metro Atlanta locations. This is my go-to store for just about any household item. I have found so many great things here over the years: unique lamps, accent tables, wall art, cushions, and other decor; good deals on limited edition perfumes, great-smelling imported soaps and beauty items; great deals on sexy dresses, professional suits, shoes and handbags; an array of electronic and phone accessories, automotive and pet supplies, toys, journals, dishware, glasses, kitchen gadgets, linens, bathroom accessories; and a plethora of some of the best organizing containers I've seen/acquired. Their prices often beat Amazon and even eBay. Also, they are open late. When I need something after the mall has closed, after Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and even Target have closed, Ross is still open. What's not to love? The only caveat is that the inventory is constantly changing with many one-of-a-kind items (or very few), so if you don't purchase a desired item the first time you see it, there's a good chance it will be gone the next time you come.
