It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. I got a full leg and full Brazilian yesterday and the results were not as expected. I was hand…read moreshowering the excess wax off my legs when I got home just after the service. As I was running my hands over my legs felt like 2 day old stubble. I noticed a good amount of hair left, though now it's just mega short. It was ripped off, not ripped out. I'd say looking at the success rate, was about 50%. Half ripped from the bottom, half just ripped in half. And on the inside of both of my thighs, there is just a 4x4 inch patch just still there. I also thought my tech would get more butt crack but no. Also, feet and toes were supposed to be part of the leg package and she didn't do them at all. My tech was incredibly friendly, professional, and sanitary. She was fantastic. I really liked her as a person. But the service itself was not at all what I expected. I hadn't shaved in at least a month, more like 2. I scrubbed my legs every night for a week prior, knowing that I was getting waxed today. And did a wash even just before leaving the house. So I'm not sure why so many hairs broke and were left over other than improper techniques. I certainly have photos to show. They look good from far away, but half of the hairs were just broken. A lot of money for how much hair was left over.
