However, desperate times call for desperate measures, and we forgot to pick up the hosts favorite poison being that of Seagrams 7 so once again, new to this area and 4 weeks of living here doesn't count as far as the learning curve of this gynormously beautifully awesome town is concerned..... They do sell lottery scratcher ticks inside however their selection is minimal but the husband and wife duo were pleasant and helpful even if they didn't know much about the liquor they are selling as I had to ask several times for the bottle I was seeking; they were pleasant and that goes a long way in my book. NEGATIVES: Crappy peeps both shopping inside the store and lurking in the parking lot BUT in all fairness to the store its the location of it which is on the corner of ghetto and street walker so its to be expected. And no judgement on the street walker part as its an honest living .. however the ghetto part well I've got more than enough to say about that but shall reserve it for another time and place ;)~ Final Grade: B ~The End ;)~

I asked the cashier to hand scan them so that I wouldn't have to lift those items. She said "can't you just lift them up so I can get to the code?" I replied "honey. Im 70 years old. You're stronger. Amongst the sevices within, Pharmacy, Floral, fresh vegetables and fruit, Frozen food, Pet food, Butcher (ive taken advantage of having large portions parted into smaller for quick storing/freezing). They also have a deli and chinese wok , as well as a Peetes coffee on site. Sifning up for the membership which is free, earns you discoubts and accumulate points towards reward bicks quarterly you apply towards a future purchase. Since then, I've been able to find one almost every time I stop in after work, so thank you for listening. Unfortunately, you've now created a much bigger problem. As an introvert, I intentionally use self checkout because I want to scan my groceries, pay and leave. I don't want to stand in a regular checkout line making small talk. Self checkout lets me get in and out quickly and comfortably. Today I discovered that every self checkout register is now card only. If I'm paying with cash, I have no choice but to go through a cashier. That completely defeats the purpose of self checkout for me. Please bring back at least one self checkout register that accepts cash. Not everyone wants to use a card every time, and not everyone wants to go through a staffed checkout. I've shopped at Raley's for many years because it's always been my favorite grocery store, but this change is a deal breaker. I won't be shopping here again unless cash is accepted at self checkout. It's genuinely disappointing to lose a store I've always enjoyed over something that never needed to be changed in the first place.
