This review is for the Walmart at Elverta and Watt ave. What a clunky mess...I cant even see the store for all the walls of clothes you put up. Finding my way back to the registers is like a hike through a maze and Ill have no idea which end of the registers Ill be. I also noticed that you put the self checkout as far away from the door as possible with no cashiers at any registers...so its another hike to the self check out and a hike out of the store. Your stores new design is oppressive and ugly and ill conceived. Then its another hike to my car as youve taken all the front spots away from shopping customers. I can see though you STILL wont invest a dime or ounce of energy to fix those hard to push carts. Fix them or get new ones. read more

I know Walmart isn't for everyone, but I enjoy going during the holidays to find exclusive items - whether it is gifts or food items. I went on Saturday on the hunt for the Little Debbie Christmas trees which they did not have, but I did find the coffee creamer! I also picked up the limited edition holiday Bloom Pop flavor and the new limited edition Diet Coke with Lime. They had a ton of ugly Christmas sweaters which I will be coming back to check out! I saw Christmas pajamas as well as different t-shirts. While this location isn't my favorite, it is convenient at times. There is always available parking and staff is as friendly as you are. Store is always decently tidy too! They offer curbside pick up which I have yet to try. I'm sure I'll be back for Christmas gifts - Walmart is great for stocking stuffers! read more

7/4/24 Happy 4th everyone. Quality/Quantity - Had to make a pit stop on the way home (finally going home, too bad for the wrong reasons...) and due to the holiday, I was not going to risk that our usual stops may have been closed. Atmosphere - I like and appreciate their "Wall of Honor," see pictures. Happy 4th! Be safe, this is one of the higher crime Walmarts. There is armed (and unarmed) security everywhere. And they have video cameras in the parking lot. Plenty of parking, but notice there are people "sitting" in the cars, some are employees are probably on break, but some are not. Service - N/A, quick in and out due to all of the above. Price - N/A, but I usually NEVER check as Walmart is a low price leader. This location will not accept any manufactured coupons from the company even though it says to use it at Walmart also they do not accept WIC which is women, infants, and children so they're not very community friendly and it's a horrible location Everything is locked up. Because the stealing is so bad. So it's not like it's a super nice Walmart. I'm upset that there Cashiers are not trained to bag groceries. Why would you put 2 gallons of milk and 2 packages of fresh Chicken in the same bag. Back in the days you had to pass a bagging test on how to correctly arrange products in the bag for customers. They want to know why customers are mad. Bags break and are wrongly packaged. Walmart Pharmacy - went through drive through that was literally created for elderly and disabled people to easily get their prescriptions. Mine wouldn't fit through the tube so they required me to go inside. I asked if they'd bring it out, as they have done for this specific medication a many times this year and previous years, and I received a stern "no." I literally had to go home to get my mobility aid to go into the store. I get that as a person disabled from birth that this world isn't build for me and people like me, but Walmart actually does have this accommodation, and has provided it before, and has simply chosen to make it harder and more unsafe for people like me. My friend, service dog and I frequently shop at this location. But Friday was very different. While in the vicinity of beauty supplies and discount items a lady in a wheelchair came over with her dog and caused a sence saying the service dog bite her dog which didn't happen cause the service dog is on a very short leash. And that means the lady would have to come right up on the service dog. Come to find out the that lady was an Walmart employee. The employee made a huge sence that everyone around was looking at her like why did you even come over here, no one asked for your assistance. The employee in the wheelchair was screaming at the top of her lungs telling my friend she had to leave the store immediately or she was getting security. Everyone who was shopping in that area left cause the employee was being so rude and so loud. I really hope this employee is delt with and reprimanded for crying wolf of her saying her dog got bit by the service dog which didn't happen cause there was no yelping from her dog. And since when are walmart employees allowed to have a dog at work, like an employee doesn't bring their children to work with them, what make an animal any different. Especially when the employee is going to use the dog as an object and cry wolf. read more

Enjoy your membership despite the glitches. There's a lot of youngsters working there. So, trying to get a beer delivered with your groceries is near impossible! And they will not call or text you. They put the order under pick up and do not deliver. So, as time passes and you figure it out, your pissed! If they cannot deliver on beer, wine or alcohol to adults, then why have it on the damn web site. The frustration is almost not worth the membership. Like having to write reviews and shit. read more

We come here regularly. We most often get the Curbside Service which is always AWESOME! The Delivery Personnel are always prompt and friendly. They carefully bag it and put it in the back of the car safely. Some make small talk while they're doing it but they ALL greet you, and that you and then offer to close up the car. Going inside is a little different. I don't feel that this store is as clean, and organized as some other Walmarts that I go to. They NEVER have the low-carb flour tortillas that I like (La Banderita). They have the brand, and the three smaller sizes - but never the burrito size. Yet most times they show them on their site and they are "Out Of Stock". I found a Walmart Just yesterday that has a big stack of them on the shelf. The problem is it's in Citrus Heights Next door to Costco. I guess I'll have to get them there. There are times that are better for Older people, if you want s calm experience. I have had a customer who was making a scene at the self check out, glare and threated "I'ch cut you". I go to this walmart because it is closes and has a parting lot that is not to difficcult to manipulate in, but I also have figured out when the best times are to avoid certain types of people. I also learned that the staff doesn't seem to care much about shoplifting even though they have security and off duty sheriff working there. read more

This place is always a disaster but is the closest for me and my man to go late night shopping and not break the bank, especially when his kids come to stay with us. This is one of those locations though that my man won't let me go to on my own. Location needs a good tidy up on the inside, organization is not a priority here. Nothing but wild ratchet hyenas working here. I went to this location several times without issue. Then, one day, a friend (I believe she also must be an employee as well) of the cashiers at the unprofessional customer service area cut me in the line. When addressing it to the employees behind the counter, most of them, including a supervisor, except for one lady (the only lady there as the rest were ratchet hyenas), foolishly told me that I should have addressed their hyena friend who cut the line directly, not them. When telling them that was stupid and it was their job to ensure all customers were treated fairly and not cut in the line, one of the security guards start using foul language against me. As I started taking my phone out, the supervisor who allowed who I believe is one of the staff members to cut the line, came over to me with a more respectful tone trying to defuse the situation. Though she did this, she did not address the guard who thought it was ok while in his official capacity of employment, to speak to consumers as such, especially when the fool wasn't even directly involved in the first place. The supervisor said that it wasn't permitted to record but I couldn't care less because I was extremely upset how those ratchet fools responded when questioning how they let their friend cut the line, most of them were standing there doing NOTHING, and even more upset by the guards conduct. While filming, one lady behind the counter motioned in full agreement that ALL I asked the fools behind the counter was who would be next considering the fact she cut the line. While saying such and the one woman (the only one who wasn't a ratchet hyena) nodding in agreement, the guard then continued to indicate that I was refused service and trespassed. I didn't hear anything from the supervisor as such due to all of the commotion but when asking the woman who shook her head in agreement that I didn't say anything but question who was next in line since they allowed their friend to cut, confirmed that her supervisor did in fact refuse me service. I then left but while leaving, told the guard F you, begged him to repeat his unprofessional conduct by being the first person to use profanity and while in the capacity of his employment, and then contacted the ethics line informing Walmart to not spoil or tamper with the stores surveillance footage as well as the guards bodycam footage. Before even telling a friend of mine what happened, I told him of the location where it transpired. As soon as I told him of the location, he KNEW it wasn't far fetched BECAUSE this location is well-known to have nothing more than ratchet hyenas employed there. There's definitely more ratchet hyenas that I could have taken a photo of but my focus was on the guard, especially after he escalated the situation by speaking to me as he did. read more

The store was much cleaner than I've seen other Walmart supercenters. There was plenty of staff around to ask for assistance--the availability of staff when in a store of this size is a great asset. I want to state that the in-store Subway looked fully stocked but wasn't in disarray. Some of the items were out of stock which is expected in this pandemic. Many people probably know what a bar crawl is and may even have participated.  They are always fun right?  Walmart crawls are the complete opposite of fun!  This is the experience my mother put my dad and I through going to several Walmarts in one day, to search for a transport chair, because her current one had gotten too uncomfortable for her to use. Apparently, she saw their ad in a flyer and decided we should try to buy a new one for her.   When we entered the store, we went straight to the pharmacy where the wheel chairs were supposed to be on display.  However, they had no chairs at all!  Staff members nearby, including the pharmacist could not help us because they were not aware or trained with knowledge about their inventory stats.  We ended up having to "crawl" to another Walmart.   Other than being disappointed, I have to at least mention that this is your average Walmart, offering a little bit of everything at mostly low prices.  And of course, these stores seem to have a knack of being conveniently located in just about every neighborhood.  When it comes to saving money, shopping here is a necessity because many of us have few choices when you are on a tight budget.  This place turned out to be a bit of a surprise from it's spacious parking lot to the clean, organized and well stocked interior, including the grocery section.  It's a busy place to shop, but that's to be expected at any Walmart..... read more

I enjoy shopping at Walmart and really like that unlike other Walmart stores like the Florin area, this one has an electrical outlet to charge my phone right in front of a Wall of Honor which I enjoy seeing and reflecting on my time serving my country. Sometimes I feel disregarded as I am homeless and not used to being a man not in a community and serving others but this store although it has a heavy security presence is respectful and always clean and easy to navigate in my wheelchair. I think the one thing I miss is the greeter position, it would give an old timer like me a way to reconnect with a community until God shows my purpose. read more

Not even worth 1 star. This place Is garbage. I came here with a broken leg just to pick up a prescription and it's taken them over 30 minutes to not be able to provide a wheelchair or anything else for that matter. I am still waiting and stuck here in the pharmacy with no way to leave. Let me start by saying I do wish people would stop bashing people in reviews and start reporting the good things that happen. I'm went by the center to grab some yard supplies needed for this weekends project. I had a huge sack of grass seed and a few other items but as I was leaving the store I went to grab my phone and it wasn't in the usual place. My heart sank as I realized that I likely had put the phone down to pick up the items and then failed to retrieve it. My fear grew as it dawned on me that if I lost it here, what are my chances of getting it back? I asked a few of the workers there and one young lady named Marianna. Thank God fir her. she was sweet and helpful. She told me Mikel turned in my phone. Mikel is a miracle if you ask me. I'm so grateful to this young man who works there and I wanted to make sure all you people heard about. Mikel and Marianna have restored my faith in mankind. This Walmart, like the others, suffers with having customers standing in long lines due to registers being closed. This Walmart, unlike the others, makes efforts to open another register before customers end up standing around too long. There needs to be a more efficient way of handing electronics sales if the customer is still shopping. I know it's a theft-deterrent, but for the ONLY electronics employee to LEAVE the department to walk ONE ITEM to aisle '5' -leaving a heavy backlog of customers ... same thing I'd the next customer and the next customer and the next each has that 'but later' situation...every time ...the entire electronics department comes to a standstill. read more

I tried to call the Walmart on Watt Ave and the one on Antelope Ave and the main number I called just rang and rang and rang for over 4 minutes!!!!! That is unreal! NASTY WALMART. They do not monitor the capacity of this location. This store does not disclose the number of covid cases they have. Staff with covid19 are encouraged to still go to work because this store is short staffed. I can't help but to write this review because a good associate I love seeing works here and she, along with many of her coworkers are working in a hazardous environment. Hand sanitizers are NOT provided. There are empty canisters everywhere. They do not wipe down common areas or registers. They do not quarantine returns. People do not respect social distancing at this store. This store does not COMPLY WITH CDC STANDARDS of requiring and enforcing face masks. Along with cleaning and sanitizing areas to prevent covid19. I also openly heard a manager telling the front workers that they now need to get tested for covid19 because another lead manager showed up to work after testing positive. I used to be a Walmart fan, but lately this particular WalMart has me rethinking my loyalty. Today I went in this store and by the time I left, I was frustrated, disappointed and confused. The items that I came to get were All locked behind glass. Men's socks, men's Tshirts, Men's Pajama pants. Even the TYLENOL was locked away. I had to call on Employees to help me. I've never needed help to shop at Walmart. Furthermore, All but 2 of the employees I saw were actually wearing their masks incorrectly (not fully covering nose and mouth). That's irresponsible and inconsiderate. I WILL NEVER RISK MY SAFETY OR SANITY BY SHOPPING AT THIS STORE AGAIN!! I drove to the store at Elverta and Watt and it was like night and day. Today I arranged an order from Walmart North Highland super center on Watt. The order was to be delivered to my Mothers home. The delivery driver Charish should be terminated. She ignored the delivery instructions and left the bags containing personal care items hanging on the community gate rather than entering the community as instructed and leaving the order on the front door steps. Not only is she incompetent and unable to follow instructions, she is also unprofessional and could care less about completing her tasks and insuring that customers privacy and dignity are protected. I hope that when she is elderly that she routinely receives similar unfeeling and lazy treatment. read more

The 5 stars in this review are solely for Dominic in the yellow vest at the front check out area. He is the perfect example of customer service. We walked up to a self checkout lane and an employee was helping a woman at the lane next to ours. Our lane showed green but someone had left the receipt. My husband picked up the receipt and sat it above the register. The female worker came up behind him angry and in a rude tone told him to move so she could get it. She reached across him while rolling her eyes and huffing And puffing. He was baffled because he didn't realize he had done anything wrong. I have never had an employee so such attitude at any store before. Dominic came over and asked if we were ok and said it was ok to use the lane. We asked if he was sure since we were just yelled at for it. He said we were ok and stood at the front. The female employee went to the register opposite ours and directly in front of us to help someone else and rudely stared today is NOT the day sir. I can see why she turns her badge around so you can't see her name. I am still astonished at how rude she was. Instead of dwelling on the bad I chose to give a good review to Dominic and the man who checks receipts on the way out. Both were kind pleasant and helpful. I bought an air mattress at Walmart on Watt Avenue. From the very first minute the main pump worked sporadically, but the next night the auxiliary pump stopped working completely. When I went to return it to the store, they treated me terribly and did not refund the money for the mattress or exchange it for another one. I now have a $118 mattress that doesn't work. I will not recommend this store to anyone. read more
