Will never return. I…read moream a strong supporter of local businesses and decided to give this formerly unrated drycleaner a try this past week. While the staff seem nice and helpful, the price and end product were a major disappointment. I recently started massage school and have sheets which need weekly washing. With little free time, I hoped to find a drycleaner to launder and press the sheets. My first mistake (and I take full blame for this one) was not asking how much it would be. I figured that two twin size flat sheets wouldn't be much more than $10 or so. I handed over my sheets and was never informed of the cost. The staff person told me it would a few days - I dropped them off on a Saturday and was told I could pick them up on Wednesday after 4pm. It seemed a bit long to me but I wasn't in a big rush. I ran over to the store today to pick up the sheets to discover the price would be $31.50. Since the sheets are for school use only, I bought cheap ones ... $9 for each sheet from IKEA. The cost of laundering them was more than the cost of the sheets. I could have bought 3 brand new crisp sheets and thrown these away given the price of cleaning. Whatever. My bad for not asking up front. Their bad for charging an arm and a leg. My second mistake (did I mention that I'm loaded up on cold medicine today?) was to pay the bill without looking over my sheets. I was still in shock over the price. I walked one block home and immediately took a closer look at the sheets ... which are still wrinkled and not well-pressed. I uploaded a photo to show how wrinkled they are. For $31.50, I expect the sheets to be pristine. Not so. Not happy. Not impressed. Not returning. While I like local businesses, I am picky about them being able to offer good products/services for a reasonable price. Certainly will never trust her with high end designer pieces for alterations.
