They made me feel absolutely beautiful and were willing to work with me until they knew that I did! They adjusted the dress to fit my body like a glove. I am now currently having a bridesmaid dress altered for a friends wedding in a few weeks. Their timing is amazing and communicate with me through the entire process thus far! When I first brought the dress to them from the store, I was feeling so defeated because it gave me absolutely no support in the bust area and made me feel terrible. Not only did they assure me we were going to make it work, but went above and beyond helping me with different options to help me feel more secure in my areas of concen. We chatted, and I was quoted about $275 for hemming and adding a simple bustle to my wedding dress. I mentioned that I was still deciding whether to exchange my dress for the next size up and had another alterations appointment scheduled before making my final decision. The owner's demeanor changed immediately. Instead of understanding that I was simply comparing options, he became defensive, told me I was "in the wrong place," refused to alter my dress, and told me to leave. I understand every business has the right to choose its customers, but there is a professional way to treat people. Shopping around before making a decision is completely reasonable, especially for wedding alterations. I ultimately had my dress altered elsewhere, where I was treated with kindness and respect. Looking back, the experience reminded me of the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld, except instead of "No soup for you," it was "No dress for you."

I'm not usually a picky person, but when I went into what I thought would be my last fitting, I had lost more weight and the alterations she had done were still too big--I swear I was eating throughout this whole process, but planning for a West Coast wedding from the East Coast was getting stressful!
