Olga did such a fantastic job altering my wedding dress! I bought my Pronovias dress 2 sizes larger than me, and Olga took the time to alter it to perfection for me. She had to modify the delicate lace in the back to match my sizing, modify the train, and hem it. I could not have been happier with the final product, and it made me comfortable on my big day. I also live in NYC, but the wedding was in Delaware, so Olga was attentive to making time in her schedule to accommodate when I was in Delaware for fittings and such. Olga is hands down the best seamstress in the area. She is a miracle worker. Olga completed the alterations for my wedding gown in record timing. Unfortunately, my wedding gown was delivered two months late due to Hurricane Irma. I had 1.5 months to get my gown ready for the wedding. I explained my situation to Olga and she warned me that she may not be able to complete all the alterations to the gown because of the time constraint but that she would try her best. Olga not only made the necessary changes but she went above and beyond and finished sooner than anticipated. The gown was satin and had appliqués and plenty of beading. Olga was able to hem the dress by 2-3 inches, take the dress in almost two dress sizes, remove a couple layers of tulle, adjust my beaded straps, add a beaded lace piece to cover some of my cleavage, and give me an Austrian bustle. Olga did all this in 4-5 weeks. See why she is amazing? Olga also has reasonable pricing. She does work out of her home but this was not an issue. She took excellent care of my gown. Olga is friendly and genuinely cares about her clients. She has so much passion for what she does and it shows in her work. She made me feel and look beautiful. I was a bit sad during my last fitting because I knew it would be a while before I saw Olga again. I will definitely use Olga in the future for any alterations, large or small, and I definitely would recommend her services to anyone. read more
