Do NOT enroll in Planet Social Sports…read more Alternatives: WAKA, Zog, Urban Sports LA They are extremely unorganized (late notification about games, last minute cancellations, leagues starting later than they're supposed to), and very unprofessional. As I signed up for a league recently, when I received the schedule the games were at a completely different time than advertised and I was unable to make any of the games. When I asked for a refund, nobody replied to my email. I called the company and was told they were working on it with their supervisor and would get back to me. I've now followed up three separate times and received nothing back. The other leagues I've participated in are much better- I recommend going elsewhere.

This is for their kickball league. Their shoddily organized, but kind-of-fun, and altogether messy…read morekickball league. There are a bunch of rules about there having to be 10 people on a team and matchups and meeting times, but none of that matters. My friends made a team that had 11 people on it. The other team that had signed up only had 3 people. Then 7 other people were signed up as "free agents." Meaning, yes, there were only enough for two 10-person teams to play. At that first game, however, there was a whopping 28 people who showed up, so we played 2 games of 7-v-7. After that, it was seriously just 15 people standing around trying to make one game work. There's a no refund policy. So if you paid $60 thinking you'd be playing kickball in a legit league, you're wrong. You're playing $60 have PSS loan you a ball and watch you and your friends play kickball. Really lame. The organizers were late to our second to last game, so we had to rush to play a game before they turned off the lights at the park. The league coordinator also forgot to email us on our last game, so we didn't even play a whole season. Overall, save your money if you want to play kickball and just go to a park and play kickball with your friends. Or join something like WAKA if you want to truly play the sport. I will say, however, that it was super nice of Rich/PSS to pick up the tab for beers on the first night of kickball. And I got a Planet Social Sports T-shirt that says the word "cornhole" on the back and that makes me laugh because I'm immature.

This is a really cool flag football league. I really liked it when I first tried it back in…read moreNovember 2014. The league plays year round almost 2 months on 2 months off. There are a total of 4 seasons a year. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. They have 2 divisions that play against each other kinda like AFC & NFC. You can either play on Saturday mornings in the San Fernando Valley, or Sunday Nights at Rancho Cienega Park. What made me stay with this league over any others was the organization and how official it felt playing. They have preface jerseys so you feel like you are on a team rather than a bunch of guys wearing the same color shirts. They do their best to keep the stats up to date on their webpage and post pictures and articles on their Facebook Page. They create power rankings as well and do video interviews. They also have All-Star games bi-annually (twice a year) and just recently they had an all star match between TUFFLeague and GameTime League. They really try to make it a fun experience. It seems like everyone enjoys coming out to play. They aren't perfect though. They do cost a bit more than other leagues. For example if you decide to play a 1 season contract with a team, that's 8 games for $80 plus the team fee which the whole team is responsible for. Hopefully you make the playoffs and get to participate in more than just 8 games. Back to contracts, they have 1 season, 2 season and 3 season contracts where you get to stay with a team from 1 season up to 3. You do pay a little less when signing up for a longer contract. The league is growing and making more and more teams. If you really like the league and decide you wanna stay I would suggest making your own team. The league will give you the option of creating a franchise. It will cost you extra because you have to design the team name, colors etc. and the jerseys need to be made. Games usually only have 2 refs, which 3 would probably be better in my opinion, although it is hard to find committed refs and ones who know the rules. Overall this is a great league, and I encourage everyone to come try it out and help TuffLeague grow!
