Had Alex install a 55" TV on the wall in my bedroom, along with in-wall cable concealment back in feb 2018. Communication was A1 and the job was flawless. He did the job the same day i requested quote. It was a great experience. Fast forward to March 2019, I contacted him via yelp 2x. No response. Honest Professionals, Talented, and Reasonable Pricing I requested quotes from multiple contractors for TV/sound bar unmount, transport, and mount. I also requested to run an ethernet line from 2nd story to first. The responses from other vendors varied: -"call me to talk more" (without giving me an actual quote) -"I do this but not that" (example: "we do all that but won't transport, we are not a moving company") -quotes that cost more than the total equipment -misquotes from contractors that didn't read the full request Alex was the only one that gave a line by line cost breakdown of each of my request. Initially I found somebody else who will do some part for less and I split up the job. Then that other contractor wasted my time by missing the appointment and didn't get back to me before then so I gave the whole job to Alex and I'm very happy I did. Three things stood out for why he went beyond my expectations: 1) He didn't raise his cost despite me telling him that I am reasonable and to call me if the work turns out more than he expected. 2) Unfortunately because of the other contractor missing the appointment, this crunched the job on the same day that I was moving so I was running around doing my move too. Alex was super professional about it, just asked the minimum of what I needed and did his thing. Even at the completion of the job, he can tell that I wasn't in a place to appreciate his work. Only a few days later after my move was I able to relax and enjoy my entertainment system and write this review. 3) I didn't get to interact much with Alex's partner but I saw him sweep the floor in the corner of my eye. These little acts demonstrate how they respect your living space despite the fact that it was raining and I was tracking water throughout the house. I suspect Alex and his partner are a great business people who value good work as he understands the the long term investment in happy customers/reviews vs short term nickel-and-diming. My wife wanted me or my friend to put our new 64 sony bravia 4k big screen on the wall, so our 3 1/2 year old wouldn't knock over the big screen over when it is on the stand. I told her that we need a professional because we will need to find the stub and have the tool to make sure the big screen is hanging straight. Additionally, if you don't get it professionally done, the big screen can fall down if done incorrectly; thus, breaking the big screen and the whole wall, which would end up costing $1300 for the big screen and $1000 to repair the wall. So it was definitely worth it to pay $99.99 to A to Z installation, than end up spending over $2600 in repairs. My wife called A to Z installation and Alex showed up on time. He used all the correct tools (stub finder and the ruler to level the tv) and put up the big screen at the correct height (eye level). He did it perfectly and additionally zipped up all the wild wires we had with the big screen, sound system, directv, internet, etc. Alex was a true professional. Again i want to emphasize that just get it done professionally w/ A to Z because you do not want to end up paying over thousands of dollars in repairs and damages due to you incorrectly mounting your own big screen. read more

Wow! Alex and his assistant are as great as it gets! First, Alex is on time. I made an appointment for Saturday, 1 PM and he was on time. I had two TV's mounted--55 inch with full motion mount in the master bedroom and 43 inch for my son's bedroom. Alex positioned the TV's EXACTLY where I asked. The cords are hidden in the wall with the exception of the cord that connects from the TV to my BOSE wave system--this is no fault of Alex's. My cord is too short but once everything was set up, it's barely noticeable. The TV in my son's room looks great. Alex was able to hide both the Direct TV and the Amazon Fire boxes behind the TV. I bought a 75" flat TV and it wouldn't fit on our old TV stand. Once we unwrapped it and set it up we realized that we'd have to buy a longer stand or mount the TV on our wall. I searched on Yelp and got a few offers to help with the mounting but A-Z was the best in communication and price seemed about the average as well. I was aware of the great reviews this business was getting and finally made the arrangements kind of last minute but Alex was available and he kept me up to minute on his arrival. Once Alex and his assistant came in they quickly got to work measuring and masking up all the areas for the bracket and height of the TV mounting. He made key suggestions as to how high the TV should be for comfortable viewing including slightly tilting the TV downward some so we can watch from our couch. Once the bracket was placed on the wall and I agreed to the height this is where I should have asked more questions prior to Alex arriving. I was under the impression the install we agreed on included everything and in it did. However I asked if the power would be compliant to code. I then realized the install would not include a kit that is compliant to code so I asked if they would install one but they didn't have one. I went out and bought one and Alex installed it without any problem. My price for install remained the same and he even included a longer HDMI cable which I also needed for the install. This also I should have asked prior to his arrival. The work was clean; he even patched a tiny area about 4-5 inches long that he had to cut to assist in getting the wires through the studs in the wall. I have to mention my home was built in 1948 and the walls are plaster but that didn't even slow this guy down he worked flawlessly. Ask questions prior to his arrival so you can have everything needed. You want an excellent install this is your guy! Quick turn-around on communications; easy to communicate with them. They readily understand what you're looking for, come up with good ideas and the results are extremely clean and professional. I moved into a place with a horrible CATV coax cable protruding from a gaping hole in the wall. I complained about this to my local CATV company, and they said they could resolve the issue. But after sending a technician, who tried to leave without even contacting me to let me know they were here, they came back and essentially threw up their hands. They didn't understand what I was asking for, and once they finally did get it, he told me that the best he could do was use some tacks to press down the cable and the exterior splitter against the wall, which still looked horrible. What I had asked for was a splitter wall plate (which exist, because I tried to buy one when an electronics store mistakenly shipped me a splitter-free two BNC-connector wall plate). The job was simple: cut the cable and re-terminate the BNC connect to a wall plate splitter, with integrated double BNC connectors on the other side to which I could connect both my cablemodem and my CATV set-top-box (STB). I'd have done it myself, but I only have tools for crimping CAT-5, not BNC-terminated coaxial. A to Z Installation asked for a couple of photos of my wall where the cable was just dangling out of the gash in the dry wall, sent me an extremely reasonable quote and after working out when they could arrive to perform the work, they worked quickly, cleanly, quietly and left behind a beautiful, professional-looking installation in my wall, exactly the way I asked for it. The service was worth every penny. Took my check and gladly tested everything out for me, and it was working. TV came up on my STB without any issues, phone service was working on my cablemodem and the Internet was working as well. These guys come highly recommended by me.
