Our residential complex had an older telephone intercom system that was miraculously repaired by Ron, a wonderful and professional technician with Onboard IT tech. I must say that we bid other vendors for this particular job and realized that Onboard IT Tech had niche expertise in this area since many other vendors in this field are really clueless and didn't come up with a proper repair plan like Ron did. He got our system working same day which is nothing short of a miracle! Our telecom system was connected to two pedestrian doors and a motor gate, it stopped working for two months since someone crashed into our gate and cut up all the electrical wires from the impact. We had to replace motor gate with a new one, and as a result everything else internal including transformers/relays were also changed and this became a colossal mess. I don't usually write reviews but i must stress that Onboard IT Tech/Ron went above and beyond and saved the day for us! They were very professional, on time and easy to communicate with throughout the installation and follow up. Sam was quick to respond to questions about the system and how it operates, even months after it was it was installed and I couldn't recall how to access certain features. Look no further for an IT company. We called Onboard because our brand-new Doorbirds (installed by another company) were taking at least 30 seconds to load (if they loaded at all!); ditto with our Ring cameras (despite recently upgrading to Spectrum gigabit internet). Sam immediately identified the flaws of our current Wifi mesh network, proposing a bold plan to run Cat6 lines directly from our Doorbirds to a new hub, and hardwiring new Ubiquiti access points. Diego and Onboard's crew pulled off some world-class cabling, running new exterior lines invisibly, transiting a 27-foot high roof line with no patching, and running Cat6 to 6 points in the house with just a few drywall patches to fix (we were planning to repaint, so not a big deal). We we're now enjoying 5G speeds and amazing Wifi (and those Doorbirds connect perfectly in 2 to 3 seconds). On a personal note - not all IT techs are equal. Unfortunately, whoever initially installed it literally just plugged the wires in some random order (?????) on both the control panel and exit points. Let me start by saying that as the owner of a small retail business in Los Angeles, it is a very difficult task to find a vendor that is reliable, provides excellent customer service, has the actual expertise that they profess to have, is reasonably priced, and does what they say they will do every time.
