The Baldwin lever handle to our back door hadn't been working properly for months, but the finish and style matched all our other hardware, so I had been procrastinating about replacing it. I phoned Guardian Angel because the reviews were so terrific; Eli arrived promptly, took apart the lockset, and explained that the inner mechanism could be replaced while leaving the external hardware in place. Baldwin hardware is pricey, so it was a relief knowing that he was honest and didn't try to sell us something we did not need. He took the broken parts with him, but made sure that our dead bolt worked efficiently so that there was no security issue. He was so efficient and professional that I decided to have him check out other interior doors that hadn't been engaging properly, despite their having been serviced by another locksmith. He said he would also get us the part to repair a closet door so it could be locked . We were pleased that Eli returned and reinstalled the new mechanisms after the weekend. The lockset now works perfectly again, 27 years after it was first installed. Eli's work was so good that we kept him longer than he had probably anticipated. He checked all the door and gate hardware throughout the house, and lubricated and adjusted everything to our complete satisfaction. Upon leaving, he assured us that were we to have any problems with the adjusted hardware, he would come back to take care of it right away. We thought his charges were extremely fair. It is reassuring knowing that we have found such a reliable, skilled technician to keep the locks in our 65-year old home operating smoothly. I never knew fear until I became a parent... especial with twin, alpha, male boys I like to call the terrible two, even though they are now five. That said, my fear reached new heights when the "terrible two" locked themselves in the bathroom and couldn't get out -- especially with a medicine cabinet that contained all sorts of candy looking dangerous pills to treat my heart condition, which was not helped one bit, when I couldn't get them out, despite their panicky screams. That said, once I called the Guardian Angel Locksmith the owner Eyal came out within fifteen minutes, and immediately set to calming my twins, as he worked on the door, in which they had broken off a key. Before long, my boys were free, to wreck havoc throughout the rest of the house, but out of harms way. The speed, the courtesy, and the calmness showed by Eyal, made this all possible. I couldn't recommend any higher when it comes to their trade, whether it's to break some kids out of a dangerous situation, or break into a car to save your pet from frying to death, or just change your locks throughout the house. Love this company, They came out the day I called them. Eyal is really nice and considerate. My son was studying with a tutor in the next room and Eyal made sure he is not disruptive and told me he can wait, no extra charge, for them to be done!!! I didn't have him wait, but this is what I call great customer service. I appreciated the honesty in regards to handling my sliding door. I was told over the phone that the door will be inspected and if they can help me they would , or let me know if this is something they don't do. Eyal fixed the lock for the sliding door and took time to determine what the problem was.He told me I need to call a company that deals with this type of problem. He also told me what the problem was, which is very helpful, so I know what to ask for when I do decided to handle that , and not be over charged. I wish there were 10 stars available so that I could give it to Guardian Angel Locksmith! Definitely not your typical old school locksmith. From the moment you pull up, the place is bright and cool. Most locksmith businesses are older and grungy. The interior is alive and upscale. Makes you want to hang out all day there. The customer service was super stellar. Phillip greeted us and was very nice and personable. Eli then came out and wow, he was so knowledgeable as well as inviting. As we talked, he offered us drinks and made us feel welcome. We learned a ton about his business and his passion for it. He has so many safes to pick from and apparently offers security cameras as well as all the locksmithing services. We also got a key duplicated and he let me pick out a cute cover for it! I got the palm tree of course. Why would anyone go anywhere else. There's nothing like coming home from a nice weekend of losing all your money in Vegas to a locked front door, with your keys securely inside. Let's not get into semantics here, or blaming anyone in particular, especially not your lovely boyfriend, who may or may not have trouble walking away from the craps tables. What really matters is that he finds someone like Guardian Angel Locksmith at 11pm on a Sunday night. I could not be more pleased with the service we received. We called them up, and after a couple rings, were notified that a tech would be at our front door in 30-45 minutes. About 10 minutes later, Gilli showed up. With zero judgement towards either of us, he got right to work, and even explained some simple stuff about locksmithing, with a great attitude. Wow! What great service from Guardian Angel! The company I work for recently had a problem with one of their emergency exit doors not allowing access with the use of their security keys. This lock was complicated and required special service. After collecting a couple of quotes from different locksmiths, Guardian Angel had the best price by far. Not only was the owner Eli incredibly friendly and helpful, he was also fast and efficient. Originally the lock was believed to need replacing but, Eli was able to quickly asses that such measures were not necessary. We initially hired Guardian Angel to repair a door handle. We were highly satisfied with the service and the result. Professional, quality work by Teddy. When he finished, we asked him to look at the entry door to our guest house, which had become increasingly difficult to unlock and open and close. We already had a quote from a door company telling us we had to replace the door. Guardian Angel assessed and concluded we could keep the door and just re-hang it with new hinges. The cost estimate was a huge savings compared to buying and hanging a new door and we appreciated the honesty of the assessment.
