About 2 weeks ago I dropped off a print to get framed. I paid half at the owners request and the he told me to come back on august 16 to pick it up and pay the other half. Their business hours are 10-4 Monday thru saturday. I went on a Tuesday at 11:30am, lights are on, open sign on the door, door locked. I knocked for 10 minutes, no one answered the door. I tried calling the phone number, mailbox is full. I messaged the owner on Facebook, no response. I went back this morning at 10 when they opened, same thing. No response, mailbox full, no one at the stores neighboring a to z framing had any idea where he was. If there was some emergency and he couldn't make it, the appropriate and professional thing to do is to write a note and leave it on the door, or contact the customers who had a set pick up date and let them know you won't be in the store. If you've ever gotten something framed before, you know it's VERY expensive and this place is no different, the print I brought in to be framed was also very expensive. Its ridiculous to be a business owner and not be open in your posted hours, not have a voicemail box available for your clients, and not have anywhere for your customers to reach you!!!! Do not bring your pictures here to be framed. No idea how this place has 5 stars, I hope the owner sees this, I will be getting police involved if more than 3 days go by. read more

My experience at A-to-Z framing far exceeded any experience I had with other framers. Az was incredibly friendly, informative, and talented. The prices were great and the quality was amazing. I stumbled upon Az The Wizard because it's in between Papa's Tapas and Coffee District. In the past I've used places like Michaels or the Rag Shop for framing but Michaels is a complete joke. Their thing is they mark up prices by at least 50-65% if not more and then offer you coupons for 50% to allow the naive customer (me) in thinking they are getting a deal. They did good work but after pricing out a few places I've realized they were about $110 over priced on this particular item. Az, the owner, takes the time to make sure your needs become reality. Besides being very friendly, he was also very honest. For example, he quoted me on a frame a few days prior and the price jumped a little, he still honored it and told me he'll do his best to get my work done prior to the deadline. He's very accommodating and his prices are very very reasonable. He is a one man operation so I can rest comfortably in knowing my concerns will be addressed and the project won't be turned over to several other employees. I wish I knew about this place a long time ago, I would have saved thousands. Az The Wizard is why I prefer to deal with small businesses and they are the definition of a great run business. read more

A girl likes options and boy did this place have a lot of them! It's a small, quaint place, and "Az" pronounced "Oz" was welcoming, helpful and easy to work with. It took 10 days to reframe my two 16x20 paintings. I went from a darker frame to something more coastal. The cost was 1/2 the price than what Michael's or another art store nearby was asking! Quality, craftsmanship, something that wouldn't break the bank, lots of options and a great turn around time was everything I wanted and that's what I got! IM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER! I just moved into the area and had to pieces I needed some custom work on. Both signed movie memorabilia. Az, was AWESOME! He went the extra mile to make sure I got the positioning of each one right, the matting matching the piece and the frame to convey the mood of the piece. WOW, I was impressed. The prices were very affordable and for what you get I couldn't believe how fair he was. He even helped me out a bit since I had multiple pieces. I had priced out a frame before and his price with matting was cheaper than Michael's big "60% off" sale and you get an expert handling your art rather than some minimum wage person.
