Jerry, at Picture Depot stands out as amazingly great. He's framed a number of pictures for us - photos from Africa, an oil from Africa and a large collage we bought in Israel. He has extraordinary taste and skill. The oil was a challenge, since he didn't have a lot of extra canvas to stretch. The collage was extra challenging because he had to make a shallow shadow box to ensure the acrylic paint would not get damaged by the glass. Workmanship is top notch and pricing is fair. Oh, and he personally delivered our Africa photos and hung them on the wall in a way we would never have considered. We and everyone that sees the way Jerry arranged the pictures love what he did. Impossible to find anyone better.

The galleries offer specials on work and artists have meet and greets. While eating lunch across the street I noticed the beautiful display windows of the Avalon Gallery so after I finished I had to come over and check them out. Avalon is owned by John M. Terry and Mavis L.R. Benson and they represent over 120 artists in the U.S. and Canada. The gallery is filled with beautiful artist blown glass in all price points. Glass is one of my favorite mediums so I enjoyed exploring all of the beautiful pieces. In addition to glass they also have jewelry, ceramics, lamps, furniture, and wall art. If you can't come to the gallery in person you can look at what they have available on their website but they don't sell on online. You have to contact them directly if you see something you want to purchase. They will also consult with you to find exactly what you want. You can really get the personal touch here. If you can visit I highly recommend it. You really need to see in person how these beautiful works of glass art capture the light.

My dealings with Mo positive. About 3 Years ago Cathy (New Owner) Referred me to a client to Appraise a textile to possibly be framed. Based Upon my Appraisal Expertise and valuation the client had the textile framed at an Extremely High cost Exceeding $7000. Most recently a client commented that the owner made Derogatory statements about me also Breaching Client Confidentiality. The owner (Cathy) told the client she lost the framing client due to my Appraisal Services. Not Only was Cathy the owners statement to the current client Untruthful it was Also Defamatory. In truth the framing was ordered and completed by Cathy based upon my Appraisal Expertise. Whatever transpired with Cathy at Palm Gallery and the client loss would be the Jurisdiction of Cathy and Palm Gallery. I am writing this review due to Cathy owner of Palm Gallery's lack of Veracity Breach Of Client Confidentiality and Defamatory Statements. Having confronted the owner (Cathy) most recently with these statements as her statements about my Appraisal Services were Untruthful and Malicious Without Justification I Would Not Recommend Any clients now or in the future. Accordingly, I had one item framed as well and the Quality for the framing cost Substandard. I now utilize Michael's and No longer need to be concerned with Defamatory, Malicious and Untruthful Statements. I Would Add Cathy Always Solicits Google Reviews Whether They Are Clients Or Not. I'll start with the end…read more I am thrilled with how my lamp looks, and I've gained tremendous knowledge regarding what to look for when rewiring a lamp. The story begins when I first brought in my Visual Comfort bedside lamp in early April after the switch started to feel as if it was overheating. Christy confirmed that the socket needed to be replaced. While the new socket was likely 'better' than my original, the flat plastic turn switch was (a) aesthetically not pleasing as the mate has a brass turn switch and (b) was not useable when laying in bed (literally, had to get out of bed to turn the lamp on/off). A little back-and-forth, some education on sockets/wattage that I didn't have prior, and legwork by Christy -- she was able to pinpoint a socket that was aesthetically close to the original, and worked better for my situation -- and I'm thrilled to have my lamp back home as good as new (possibly, even better). I am equally thrilled to have a relationship with a local, family-owned business I can trust to do the right thing. Will not hesitate to bring future projects to Quality Lighting and Accessories.

So thought this was one of those crazy overpriced art galleries and took a peek inside. The employee or owner was outside on her phone so we took a self guided tour of the exhibits which were mainly wall art and purses by an unknown artist to me named Debilzan. The assuming original art work was colorful and intriguing, one priced high at $11k, but the vibrant purses were shockingly only $700.00. So not sure if the purses were cheap versions of originals with cool art work by DeBilzan painted on them.
