I want to start off by saying my wedding was a huge success and big hit with my elders and friends alike which I want to thank ATOL for. Florals: I had a whimsical vision for my flowers and I wanted it to look like bursts of stars. I am lucky I didn't have any preferences on specific flowers, but Cindy gave a very detailed list of the florals she would use in our quote which I appreciated. As we progressed towards wedding day, she would advise if something would not work with our setup or plans and pivot accordingly. When I saw everything the morning of, it was soo beautiful against the blue sky. It looked elegant, gentle, and had that little bit of whimsy. Any floral decor for the tea ceremony was also transported to our reception where it was repurposed for the sweethearts table!! Coordination: There is a saying that if you didn't notice anything that means you had a good experience. Mostly for user experience in websites, but the same can be applied here. I'm an easily stressed out gal so I knew having a day-of-coordinator would be beneficial. There were logistics that were super important, but it would have never crossed my mind had Cindy not brought it to my attention. Initially, when my wife and I started our vendor search for our 2024 wedding, we were completely overwhelmed. Finding a floral vendor seemed like the biggest challenge because of the sheer amount of florists in the LA/OC area and they all had different styles, price points, and availability. Cindy was one of the first we reached out to based on a referral from a friend, but she also was one of the most communicative and professional with a quick response time. In all of these floral consultations, you usually have to first fill out a floral questionnaire or setup a meeting to go over the questions via phone/zoom, then the florist will give you a quote in 1-3+ weeks. However, Cindy was impressively efficient; she provided a quote and set up an initial meeting within days of receiving our questionnaire. From our meeting, we could tell she was professional, easy-going, and personable. She walked us through everything very smoothly and helped us incorporate our vision. We ultimately choose Cindy because she was reliable, experienced, and her pricing was reasonable -- some other florists wanted to charge us double of what Cindy quoted. We booked the outdoor terrace for the ceremony and the Sofia ballroom, only a few feet away, for the reception, both of which hosted 80 guests. Cindy Wu's coordination service was top-notch. She was so flexible with scheduling, easy to make last-minute changes with, and happy to give more details on anything to us. She is great at logistical planning, problem solving, and had excellent suggestions for us throughout the entire process. All the meetings beforehand made us feel very prepared for our big day. She really makes sure to plan the perfect day so the bride and groom get to enjoy themselves at the wedding, and during the day she made sure we were right on track and having a good time. She even had her team move the arch from the ceremony site to behind our sweetheart table during cocktail hour so we could reuse the piece. We worked with Cindy for wedding planning and florals. I would rate wedding planning a 4, but sadly florals were a 1. Planning: Cindy was a responsive person and generally got back to us within a day or two. She is a very firm person, and I think I needed that for planning purposes. We did the medium package, but I wondered if we would have been better off with the day of only. Florals: I truly think she should have declined us as clients for flowers. I think she took on too much and instead of telling us, she went on with it. We trusted her and her process. We wanted a semi-full, lively, bright floral arch. Our flower arch looked sad and dying, and the flowers looked wilted. It felt like a bad omen. I paid $50 extra for a cascading, flowing bridal bouquet and ended up with a very rigid flower torch? Her suggestion was to hold it out in front of me horizontally, which meant my bouquet stuck out 1.5 feet in front of me like a giant branch instead of being soft and flowing. It looked so awkward that my photographer had to quietly pull me aside and suggest I hold it differently. I ended up holding it like a side bouquet for all my photos. I don't think Cindy was familiar with the technique I wanted, which is 100% OK, but please tell me. I literally wanted to cry when I saw it T___T I don't blame Cindy for having a lot on her plate. I just wish she had been honest with me and admitted as much. I would have found someone else so that I could have the flowers I wanted instead of seeing sad wilted flowers in all my photos. It is supposed to be the one of the best days of your life. It is sad to see these flowers as part of mine. read more

Her floral quotes explains exactly what you are getting and with full detail. I found this very helpful and this help me make the decision to go with Cindy for my wedding flowers. I explained to Cindy that I wanted a more pop of color for my wedding flowers and she was able to deliver just that. Our wedding ceremony had to be moved into the inside due to rain last minute. The flowers for the ceremony was already set up outside and Cindy's team was able to quickly move all the flower indoors for a last minute indoor ceremony. I was so please with how quickly and logically her team worked. Probably one of the best decisions I made for my wedding was hiring Cindy as my day-of-coordinator. While I knew the basics like what vendors I had to hire (caterer, DJ, florist, etc.), I also had no idea how much I DIDN'T know. During our first meeting, Cindy was asking me questions and figuring out what type of reception we were planning, and I'm pretty sure I answered "I have no idea" or "I haven't thought about it" at least to half of them LOL. Like, I didn't know uplights had colors!? And what the heck is pipe and drape!? (By the way, I STILL don't know, LOL!) But Cindy was sooo patient and helpful throughout this whole process, and never once made me feel dumb for asking her all these questions. Also, she made the timeline for our whole wedding day! Which was SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. I have no idea how long things are supposed to take, so the fact that she can take all our ideas and visions, and put it all together to create a straightforward, clear timeline was amazing. No exaggeration, I could not have had the wedding I envisioned without her help and expertise. Cindy helped respond to numerous emails, especially with the hotel events manager, and made sure that all the details were set for our big day. If anything didn't go according to plan, my husband and I didn't realize it, because that's just how good she is at her job. We would often see her whizzing back and forth throughout our reception, and she always looked like she was on a mission. I know she was working hard to make sure everything was going according to plan, which my husband and I really appreciated. My husband's sister even complimented us on how smooth and seamless the events during the reception were. My husband I were able to fully relax and enjoy the day because we knew that Cindy was taking care of everything.
