I LOVE florals - and if you love florals too, I highly recommend booking another florist for your wedding day. We really tried to give patience and grace however she crossed many lines the week of our wedding. Jennifer's professionalism and communication was not there: -She would take longer than two days to get back to us the week of the wedding for urgent questions and claimed that she is "too busy" - but she had enough time to post pictures of the flowers she bought for our wedding, as well as repost Taylor Swift's engagement on Instagram. Lady, you have time -Our first look photos were 2 hours before our church ceremony, and she said that she would not be able to deliver the bouquet and boutonnieres up to Inland Empire. She wanted me to ask our photographer who is local to OC bring the flowers - which is not his job. I ended up picking up the flowers the day before, had followed all instructions that she provided, and the flowers were not in good condition the morning of our wedding day. -I had told her multiple times that my family member would be making boutonnieres for the aunts/uncles which she okay'd. Before the evening reception, she threatened to take all of the flowers away because it was "breaching contract" and that my family was not allowed to make their own boutonnières. After we had showed her screenshots of the email exchange of our agreement, she backed off. -I had created a visual mockup of how we wanted our sweetheart table to look (flower meadow along with a sign of our last names). the day of, she took creative liberty and when told that the sweetheart table was not what I had specified, she said that "this is what the bride had wanted". After physically adjusting the sweetheart table myself during the room reveal, she finally adjusted things similar to the original mockup that i created for her, during cocktail hour. -during my husband and I's room reveal and private vow exchange, she lingered the whole time not to adjust the sweetheart table, but to take photos of us for her social media. it made us extremely uncomfortable and we had to ask staff to have her leave. -she delayed the time that our guests were allowed to enter the reception, because she was taking social media photos and videos for her personal use. -she had promised to have another boutonniere ready for my husband at the reception so that it would look fresh for reception photos - when we had asked her at the reception where the boutonniere was, she said that she "forgot to make one". My husband's best man was kind enough to give him his boutonnière instead. She came back after saying that she will make my husband's bout, but will not be making one for the best man that gave his bout away. read more

You never know when you cross paths again, but I am so honored that Jenifer was able to make my floral wedding dreams come to life! Five years ago, I first met Jenifer and her boyfriend then (now husband!) Vincent on a cruise with a group of friends. It was one of those chance encounters where strangers talk to one another since we were all stuck in line and ended up figuring out that we had a lot of the same interests. As we were hanging out, Jenifer casually mentioned that she was a teacher as well as a florist which was impressive since I can only manage one career path at a time. Back then, I didn't know when my future wedding would be, but Jenifer was super sweet, and we exchanged contact information as well as social networks since we all got along very well. I started following her florist work and loved her floral aesthetics with pinks and mixes of white and green which was the exact wedding vibe I wanted. Fast forward to 2019, I started wedding planning and knew that I needed a florist who fit my vibes but also within my budget. Ironically, we crossed paths again at an IKEA wedding event where she was a presenter and conducted one of the workshops. Maybe it was a sign from the universe telling me that there was only one florist I could go with and that was Jenifer at Peonies & Petals. I was so happy to see her and grateful she could share this knowledge so that all our wedding photos would look beautiful with the bouquet. The reception was transformed to include her magical floral details from our entrance photo station to our guest table seating. Our cake was a showstopper since she made sure that every flower had the right hue and ombré effect. It is common to give away the centerpiece during a Vietnamese wedding, so we're glad our guests to enjoy her work as well at the end of the night. All the wedding floral details were exquisite and just the right amount of blush pink that I wanted. She truly does care about her work and I knew that she was a friend I was proud to support. Jennifer's work is amazing but her professionalism was not. She was a florist for my friend's wedding. I dont like to complain but this took me a lot to write this review. My first encounter with Jennifer was in the parking lot. Jennifer would constantly nag at my friend about a certain center piece, making sure it was not taken by the guests or damaged, which I understand, then would tell my friend that if anything happens to them my friend will be charged $$$. The plan was to move them when food was being served. I was outside and saw Jennifer, asked her a simple question of if she was there to pick it up because my friend put me in charge of them. Her response to me was HUH? with a rude tone and expression on her face. I asked again, the talls(whatever its called), another HUH? rudely. I said the center pieces if she was there to pick them up already and rudely responded "no, I pick those up after?" With a disgusting look on her face. In my head, literally thought rude a** b****. I've never been part of a wedding and dont know how things go and this was her response to me. And I get it people have their "days" but this is not how you speak to someone. Second part was after the reception. There was a miscommunication about what flowers pieces could be taken home with us. As my friend's family was about to take the flower display she paid for off their sweet heart table, Jennifer said no, you cant take these, you'll have to pick whatever you want out. Is that how its suppose to be when it comes to weddings?! So then we proceed to start taking out the flowers and she says oh, but you can take those center pieces after majority of the flowers have been taken out already! Everyone was so upset, my friend ended her wedding night in tear! The flowers were being put into garbage bags because we werent prepared for this. jennifer said it was because the flowers that were on the sweetheart table had these green foam thingy to hold the flower pieces. I told her I had cash and she said no that she only does venmo, that she doesnt like to "handle" cash but I dont have venmo. I'm trying to accommodate to both sides and resolve the issue by paying for the stupid green thing so we can just take the whole thing home. She then try to tell them that certain center pieces we can take with us. I told her to leave it alone because everyone was already upset and that she's just making it worse because her lack of communication. She could have said it from the beginning when she first told us that we would have to take the flowers apart, that certain center pieces we could take home. I told her that she could have told us BEFORE we started to remove the flowers and all she could say was "it was in the contract" how the hell are we all suppose to know? My friend wasnt even aware of the sweetheart table's flowers! Like I said LACK OF COMMUNICATION. From then until now, I am still upset about the situation and how things were handled. Jennifer, if you intent to be this way I suggest putting every detail and expectations in writing instead of waiting the day of, also having a clearer communication with your future clients. I wouldnt want ANY bride to go through what my friend and her family had to go through. Thanks. I appreciate your apology for your attitude, but I'm not the one who to apologize to. Everything went well until the very end where all the miscommunication happened with what florals can be taken home. You never said that we could have taken the cages home, if you were to mention that then no issue would have occurred. All that I'm really expressing is that in the future that theres a clearer communication. No one is going to remember what is said on their contract while they have thousands of other things to worry about on their wedding day. I appreciate you helping with her dress but it was not needed as I kept mentioning to you as I was trying to do it, instead you told me to leave it alone. Wow, Jenifer knows her stuff when it comes to flowers. I knew early on during the planning process that I wanted to go with Peonies & Petals as my florist. I've seen her work at weddings and I was super impressed what she was able to do with a small budget. I've helped family members with florals in the past and it's never worth it to do it on your own... wedding florals is a messy and tedious task so leave this task to the Peonies & Petals. I gave Jenifer my vision and budget for my 300+ guest Vietnamese wedding at Hangar 21. I wanted wild and funky flowers, succulents, terrariums and anything eclectic. I sent pictures of what I was looking for and she shared her input. There were times where I was worried about how everything would turn out... but in the end, Jenifer and her team really impressed me. A few days before my wedding, she showed me some photos of the flowers she got for me... and WOW did it make me feel happy. I picked up my bouquets the night before my wedding and I was sooooo happy. She even got a special request flower for me (the bad-ass King Protea). On my wedding day, there were many things that didn't go as planned but the flowers was one of the things that was perfect. Jenifer even took initiative to help me with decorating my cake...super sweet of her! Weddings can be very stressful... don't let flowers be something you worry about. Her pricing is reasonable compared to most florist in Orange County but the florals are above standard. She is very creative and will make suggestions and give tips to what she believes with elevate your vision. It's so convenient to find someone you can trust and provide it all vs having to deal with 10 different vendors. This reduces room for errors and mix ups on the big day. On the day of my wedding, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY at my floral arrangements!!! They were gigantic, beautiful, and elegant.
