Today was my second cleaning week (I have them come out every two weeks) the first was a deep cleaning so I was concerned the maintenance would not be as good. But it was just as good I was very pleased with the first visit. I am very picky about cleaning and I feel if I am going to pay it should be atleast the same if not better then what I can do for free. Jennifer and her team do a wonderful job and make sure before they leave I am 100% satisfied. They have great customer service. Bathrooms are clean and windows and mirrors are spotless. They even dust my shutters and fans in the maintenance visit. I have a large sliding glass door (see pics) and they take care of that as well. I am very happy with her service and her team. I called to schedule a move-out deep cleaning and was told over the phone that I would receive a quote by email for the requested cleaning date. I didn't receive any communication within the next few days, so I tried calling several times on 3 different days during normal business hours. I wanted to ensure we found a reliable company who would show up on the date needed, be on time, and do a very thorough job to ensure we received our full deposit back. Let me start by saying I have had cleaners in the past and it hasn't always been the greatest but this is an utter joke. For $295 I was told I would get a move out deep cleaning. After they were ready to leave in an hour an half? They asked me to look around. After seeing fingerprints on the sliding glass door and wipe able things in the drawers we started to ask questions. Instead of admitting that they must be in some kind of hurry they start blaming me for not being specific on what to clean and that I still have stuff in the way. Mind you we did have boxes and some small furniture that is staying for the lady who is moving in. But nothing was obstructing or in the way of any of these photos. I asked for a deep cleaning and I guess I am supposed to tell a cleaner please mop behind a toilet, please windex a window, please mop the ground in its entirety, oh yeah and please clean the bath tub?!?! Never experienced such bad service and then get blamed for it. Oh yeah and they said they were going to be here at 9am and texted 45 minutes before and said can they come at 1pm. After a year or so of servicing my home, I had to end the relationship with this cleaning service. Jennifer, the owner, means well and tries to do right by the client but unfortunately falls short and her attitude tonight was horrible customer service and unacceptable. I've gone through the ups and downs as her staff changes or has been unreliable or not cleaned well, I even let it go when they brought a 15 year old to clean my home during that time (which she never asked if I would be okay with assuming that liability)because I was trying to work with her the same way she's been flexible with me when I needed to make last minute date and/or time changes. Also over this time though, I dealt with perfume that she broke and never reimbursed me for, left bottles of chemicals around you house after cleaning(I have a young son who have found them and could've consumed the liquid), left dirty dusters or rags around my house after they've left, taken cleaning materials of my own or a broom like last cleaning experience, almost a 30% increase without an increase in services and her team doesn't actual clean the whole house they're charging me for due to one room being under construction and two others left with boxes due to me still unpacking items, but I let it go. After each cleaning, she'll tell me "if there are any issues let me know " and there have been issues. Sometimes she's able to fix them but other times she'll say that she'll tell her girls and do better next time while still asking for the full price of the service. Almost 20 years of being an HR professional, and having a staff and now also being a business owner, I understand that nothing and no one is perfect but doing what can be done to fix the situation is important and with a good professional attitude. I didn't get that tonight and it was the last draw. Today, there were staffing issues so she had to come almost 4 hours later and arrived at 6pm. I was understanding and said that due to timing, they may only have time to clean the main areas. As I stated, I have a young son and he needs to get to bed so having him go to sleep at 9 o clock or so for them to have their usual almost 3 hours of cleaning wouldn't work. She came with a team of 5 of them but she and another one left for over an hour to get another vacuum cleaner from storage, so that left 3 for unsupervised ladies cleaning and they don't speak English so it's hard to communicate with my limited Spanish. With them being a bit rushed, and Jennifer not being here to supervise, things were missed and not cleaned as thoroughly. Since I was putting my son to bed when they left, I wasn't able to do my usual walkthrough with her to confirm things were good. About 15 minutes after they left, I noticed the the kitchenette area in my in-law suite area where my dad lives looked like it hadn't been cleaned or barely cleaned. As I usually do, I sent her a text and then sent pictures so that she could see it. Instead of apologizing and working through a way to correct it, she said that she personally inspected it and that it was fine and accused me of being hard to please and that I'm never happy. I was totally thrown off and insulted because I sent proof, which I don't know if she saw yet before calling me. She said that her ladies work very hard and that they try their best. I told her that it's nothing personal and that effort has nothing to do with it. Why would anyone be expected to pay full price, which I always do, when the full service wasn't done and done correctly ‍?!! She then told me that I should ask a neighbor about how good of a job her team does. What does that have to do with me? That neighbor doesn't even live in the state anymore and uses her home as a short term rental. She told me to send what I thought was fair but what am I supposed to do with that. It shouldn't be left up to me. She should've offered to take $25 or so off. If a restaurant gets your food wrong they don't tell you to pay the portion of the meal you ate or enjoyed or what you feel is fair. They apologize and make the adjustment. I went ahead and paid the full price because I don't want any additional issues from not paying but I didn't like doing it and I didn't appreciate the attitude and accusations. I'm not saying not to use this company, but definitely double check their work, take pictures when it's not right, and find out from her ahead of time how she will resolve issues when things aren't done correctly and there are problems with their cleaning. read more

If you decide to go through this company, pray that you deal with Cathy and not Jennifer. I needed a job done for my grandpa's house because he fell and is in the hospital. While recovering, he fell completely behind on house work due to old age, so I decided to call A Touch of Perfection. Jennifer had to reschedule my appointment twice, to which I was understanding. Once the job was finished, I was told I could make my payment through Zelle. The number given was under a name of Christian (supposedly a partner) and was not connected to their direct line of business. This was just a simple misunderstanding on their part, however it was quite a hassle to cancel the payment because I bank with a credit union that doesn't work as quickly as other banks. Jennifer appeared to have never keep in communication with her assistants (who were really nice about the situation and honestly felt bad) and was berated by Jennifer several times. Don't get me wrong, I completely understand that payment is necessary once a service has been completed, but she failed to understand that the money for the service was deducted from my account. Thus, making it appear as though she would like me to send her duplicate transactions. I told Jennifer, after multiple phone calls with my bank, that I was able to cancel the payment to "Christian" and can send her the payment AGAIN once the money shows up in my account again. I wanted to let her know that I was happy with the service from Kathy, but Jennifer herself needs to really work on her customer service skills (see photos of text messages), and told her that her apology was insincere due to her phrasing. She is completely tone deaf and even called me back AFTER EXPLAINING THAT SHE WAS RUDE and wanted me to explain how she was being rude. It was like dealing with a teenager. And by the way, even though I was in communication with Cathy multiple times, I received 7 phone calls while I was at work. I'm a teacher and can't take phone calls in front of the kids at 7:30 in the AM. Sometimes a little self-reflection can go a long way. I was pleased with the work from the maids, but because of Jennifer I would never recommend this company to anyone I cared about. Disappointed. Jennifer was very nice and responsive but I was very disappointed with the work. I was quoted for 2 hours of work with 3 people but they left after an hour and 20 minutes and the last 20 minutes, one of the ladies sat in the car. The group seemed very rushed and were not thorough in their cleaning at all. It looked like none of the faucets had been touched. I asked for a deep clean of the kitchen and it was a very basic clean and there were a number of areas that needed more attention. After the initial cleaning of one of the bathrooms, I had to ask them to go back in and wipe the windowsill, the door and cabinet as it was visibly dirty. One of the showers was wiped down rather than scrubbed as well. Additionally the tile floors throughout the house were mopped but not swept prior so the dirt was just mopped into the floor. I had this service done for my mother who is out on vacation but I don't think she'll notice it was clean when she returns. read more
