In another life, I would design…read more I am one of those, 'I can do it myself' type people-- especially when it comes to creating brochures, posters, invitations, etc. WELL... I just recently learned that while that is true MOST of the time. SOME of the time, I need a little help. Luckily, Allegra came to my rescue. I designed a front and back party invitation for my mother-in-law's birthday. (If I say so myself, it was pretty stylin.) I tried to upload it from home to print elsewhere with no prevail. The image kept showing up blurry and I couldn't remedy it. *** Let me preface all of this with, I am a millennial. I prefer emails, text messages... online communication. *** SO I searched the internets for a local fix to my problem that WOULDN'T require me to pack up my toddler to head to a store. Alas, Allegra. I uploaded my file, sent a quick message outlining my issue and telling them what I wanted printed. I got a quick reply from the Graphic Design Manager informing me that they found the file to be blurry, too. I couldn't fix it on my end, so I sent them permission to the document via Canva. BOOM. They fixed it. Had it printed in hours. Sarah and Celeste were BEYOND helpful. My invitations looked better than even I imagined. My press check went off with only one hiccup which was actually my fault but they quickly made some adjustments to cover my behind. The UV inks they use look vibrant on the uncoated stock I had selected. The customer lounge was a very relaxing area to hangout while they were preparing my job was very plush. The road construction in front was kind of a pain but isn't really their fault.
