(My cats definitely wanted to help.) I called the Chattahoochee Nature Center for a recommendation & their recording suggested the ahnow.org website to find a humane wildlife person, which is how I found Sanders Wildlife. Chatted with Brandon over the phone & he headed over to help out. It took some coaxing, but he was able to safely the the squirrel out (turned out to be a nursing mama) & we released her immediately back out into my yard so she could get back to her babies. He also fixed up/sealed the top of my chimney properly so I won't have squirrels or birds accidentally making their way down again. Brandon is so nice, obviously loves animals, is very patient, & took care of the situation exactly the way I wanted it handled (humanely & kindly). I thought the price was reasonable for the service (though I have nothing to compare it to). I will definitely be calling Sanders Wildlife for any future wildlife needs I have. 100% recommend.
