Chance took care of the squirrel issues and we thought the price was reasonable given the…read moresituation. As part of our pest solution, Chance sealed entryways into our attic and used a squirrel trap that prevented them from staying , humanely. He was to leave the trap for up to two weeks (according our consultation) to ensure that the pests would stay gone and he would seal up the hole that he made in our roof to install the temporary deterrent and complete our service. But due to scheduling reasons and month-long periods of no communication from Excel, the trap has been on our roof since January 9th (over three months at the time of this post). We were not given any explanation from Excel for this or the lack of communication via text or voicemail. We managed to finally get a response from Chance about coming out to remove the trap with a week of advanced notice. We asked for a morning service call and got no response from Chance. The day of the removal (April 15th), we got a text from Chance telling us that he would be by between 11:30 and 12 pm. This is after we made plans around a morning service call and then we were forced to rearrange the rest of the day due to a lack of communication, as a result. We wanted the trap removed and the hole sealed up, finally. Chance showed up (25 mins late) and finished his inspection/trap service, but offered up no explanation as to why he didn't answer texts or why he was late today. We would have been willing to work with delays that come up or if a three month trap was warranted given the pest problem. However, no communication about either of these matters was made on the part of Excel. I would have recommend this company for their services but they do not value their customers' time after they have been paid for the services up front. If you are considering using this company, then be aware of that when you negotiate pricing. You are not paying for promptness, punctuality or good communication with this vendor.

If you're not using Robards Pest Control for your home or business already, you should. If you're like me... You hate bugs... And the sooner winter can come and kill them all, the better... But in the meantime, why deal with them when there's someone like Joseph at RPC who can take care of you and yours? Let me tell you, it was really late at night and I had a question about a specific bug and though it was the weekend and very much after hours, Joseph took the time to thoughtfully respond to my question and point me in the right direction with both home prep (sealing up entry-access points) and which product would do the best job at killing and deterring the bugs in question. But, one tip?Unlike me, maybe, unless it's like an "Arachnophobia" situation... wait until normal business hours to decide to take an interest on a particular bug? I highly recommend RPC, and agajn, if you're anything like me and the closest you come to being "in touch with nature" is observing it from the other side of a window...
