As part of our pest solution, Chance sealed entryways into our attic and used a squirrel trap that prevented them from staying , humanely. He was to leave the trap for up to two weeks (according our consultation) to ensure that the pests would stay gone and he would seal up the hole that he made in our roof to install the temporary deterrent and complete our service. But due to scheduling reasons and month-long periods of no communication from Excel, the trap has been on our roof since January 9th (over three months at the time of this post). We were not given any explanation from Excel for this or the lack of communication via text or voicemail. We managed to finally get a response from Chance about coming out to remove the trap with a week of advanced notice. We asked for a morning service call and got no response from Chance. The day of the removal (April 15th), we got a text from Chance telling us that he would be by between 11:30 and 12 pm. This is after we made plans around a morning service call and then we were forced to rearrange the rest of the day due to a lack of communication, as a result. We wanted the trap removed and the hole sealed up, finally. Chance showed up (25 mins late) and finished his inspection/trap service, but offered up no explanation as to why he didn't answer texts or why he was late today. We would have been willing to work with delays that come up or if a three month trap was warranted given the pest problem. However, no communication about either of these matters was made on the part of Excel. I would have recommend this company for their services but they do not value their customers' time after they have been paid for the services up front. If you are considering using this company, then be aware of that when you negotiate pricing. You are not paying for promptness, punctuality or good communication with this vendor.

I could not come to his home and just because he didn't answer , have the freedom to walk around his home . This was totally out of line and if it happens again I will be pressing charges against the company . As a homeowner , I have a right not to answer my door and he has a right to leave immediately if I don't . After he was illegally on my property , he stayed outside my home and in my driveway for another 20-25 mins this is totally unacceptable . I will be exploring my rights as a homeowner . I'm disgusted that he felt like he could do this and get away with that type of disrespect . I am in need of an exterminating company , but there is no way I would use them or recommend them to anyone especially if you're African American because the disrespect is real!

But, one tip?Unlike me, maybe, unless it's like an "Arachnophobia" situation... wait until normal business hours to decide to take an interest on a particular bug? I highly recommend RPC, and agajn, if you're anything like me and the closest you come to being "in touch with nature" is observing it from the other side of a window... I thought I could manage with the DIY kit I bought from Facebook and all that it killed were crickets. It wasn't until I found a wasp nest under one of the alcoves on the front of my house and having to kill a spider, with babies pouring out of it that I finally realized enough is enough!! My sister lives in the area and recommended a chain service, but I found their online reviews to be consistently negative. So, I did some research on Yelp and Google and found Hole-In-One Pest Solutions. I wish I had called earlier as I continue to put this off despite having additional spiders coming through various cracks, corners, doorways, etc. The customer service representative was extremely helpful and kind. Super easy to talk to and helped me set up my first pest control appointment. I've always lived in an apartment so I've never had to deal with this before. I appreciated her patience and compassion as I explained my terrifying wolf spider story. Within just a couple days (due to my schedule) I had a tech out at my place. He listened attentively to the issues, and after a walk around the perimeter we agreed to a treatment plan and price. (Side note - a big turn off and red flag for me is when companies try to guilt or scare you into a subscription or additional services. This was NOT the case. The pest control company that I usually use wasn't equipped to handle whatever might be inside. Skedaddle handled things beautifully for me! The person who spoke to me on the phone got all my information, listened carefully, and gave me good advice about what I needed based on what was happening (a free assessment, rather than jumping to an animal removal appointment). The person who came to my house called ahead, offered to text me when he arrived (because I was in work meetings), and was incredible! He checked out the stove, not just quickly looking inside, but poking carefully to see how it was set up and whether anything might be hiding out of sight. He examined the pipes leading to the stove. And, he explained what likely caused the sound (a bee that had since died). He also pointed out the outside chimney and helped me understand a bit about how it was set up, why I likely didn't need to do anything, but also offered to send a quote to add some protection if I wanted it. The quote was very reasonable, and if I thought that I needed the additional protection, I'd hire them in a second to do it. Incredibly reassuring, informative, and helpful. We paid over $2,000 for a wildlife exclusion - DON'T DO IT. Arrow inspected the premises and said…read morethey'd seal up the house and the attic mice would be gone in weeks. They said we'd have a one-year guarantee too. The mice never left, Arrow was never able to prevent the mice from getting into the attic. The staff strung us along for a year. In the end, they basically said there's nothing they can do because our house has siding - which they knew when they took our money. They advised us that poison was our best bet. We literally hired them to avoid using poison (to avoid the risk of secondhand poisoning our pet). We still have mice in the attic and this service was COMPLETELY WORTHLESS. It was a waste of a year and a waste of money. They then had the nerve to ask us if we'd like to renew their guarantee for another year. NOPE!

Can you believe when I explained my problem to their competition Orkin, the Orkin representative concluded that I had fleas over the phone. This was before anyone had been dispatched to my home. I even explained that I just moved into a new house in a new subdivision, that none of my neighbors had dogs and that I didn't have a dog and Orkin still insisted it was fleas. Go figure? Thank goodness I had the sense to call Arrow Exterminators. Arrow Exterminators came to my house the next day, completed a thorough examination of the inside and outside grounds and determined I had seasonal silverfish that were coming under the threshold from the grass outside. The problem was solved, treated and I haven't seen any silverfish since. It's been almost a year so I should probably give Arrow Exterminators a call again, especially Fred who services the southern metro area from the Newnan office.
