This review is overdue by many years. I have been a customer of A Village Florist for over 10 years. They have been my strong ally through dating, getting married and sad times as well. I apologize to the ladies at the shop for not rating sooner. The customer service is and has been superb on a consistent basis. It is very easy to work with them and I will often stop in and they are able create something magnificent using flowers. Often, it is through other experiences that we discover the treasures that we have. I recently had a tough experience ordering through an online nationwide flower place that sent my request to another florist. It wasn't good. I heartily recommend A Village Florist as the only florist to choose in Sandwich and the surrounding area. read more

We were visiting family in Sandwich last summer (2023). We stopped into the shop in hopes of finding a nice arrangement for my husband's Aunt. I work in a high end floral design shop in the Bay Area, so I do have high standards. I was quickly impressed by the quaint well appointed shop as well as many of the arrangements In the cooler. We happily found one we liked and I apologize, in our rush I didn't Get a Picture. However, I remember it was blues and whites with lovely hydrangea & Even had a sand dollar tucked in as an accent. I have a respect For creative and beautiful florals that ARE NOT cookie cutter 1-800-****** disappointing arrangements and quality!!! (Word of advice, DO NOT USE 1-800-*******) A Village Florist IS creative, beautiful and fresh!! Auntie loved her arrangement, and the gal that was working in the shop was delightful. A Village Florist was just wonderful to work with! I was doing the flower badge with a Girl Scout troop and needed to find the most economical way to do flower arrangements and dying flowers with 16 girls. The woman at A Village Florist was so helpful. She set me up with daisies that had many on each stem and carnations for dying (they ordered them for me). This is a great florist located here on Cape Cod. So many times when using Cape Cod businesses you are subjected to poor customer service or high prices because of the many tourist we have visiting the Cape and many people in business feel they can get away with this and sometimes do. This is not the case with this florist. Great customer service, fast delivery and a value that is right on! I recommend them highly. This is coming from someone who once owned a florist shop. They were so cheerful and helpful, asking me the details of how I wanted it to look (using greens, berries, sand dollars & Cape hydrangea to get that "Cape feel") and delivered it the very next day.
