If you're in the same situation, you'll relate. I checked my dad in there straight from a post-hospital rehab center today. There are chunks of concrete falling off the retainer wall; there's a train line literally across the street; the furniture is chipped, warped and damaged. BUT...we're veterans at this kind of thing now and I can tell you that I have NEVER seen such friendly, supportive staff; never seen such welcoming, happy residents; never seen such a warm, caring, compassionate environment. Knowing my dad, in two weeks the complaints will start, but I have never seen him so HAPPY anywhere in all these years. It was heart warming and beautiful. I'd rather have good staff and nice people than fancy decor.

The care she received was awful.The staff was rude and would visit the room infrequently. My mother is allergic to dyes, the staff was alerted about this and on several occasions, they still tried to give her colored pills. Well, standing at the nurses station going over my mother's pills another patient came up and they ignored her for over five minutes. The next day another patient needed help to the bathroom and the nurse said call 911, I'll be there when I get there. My mother was there for rehab and after the third day and no scheduled rehab until the fifth day we pulled her out of Ignite. We found out the day before another family pulled their loved one out for the same reasons. Do not take your loved ones to Ignite !! Do not be fooled by their website.

First of all the facility is immaculate. From the waiting area to all the equipment areas - even before the pandemic all areas were always spotless. And when Covid hit, every precaution was taken and every protocol followed. I always felt very safe and protected. At the front desk, Vik always greeted me with a smile and a friendly word. As a physical therapist, Anita is extremely competent and professional, but also very welcoming and friendly. She is one of the best therapists I have ever worked with: knowledge and thorough, as well as patient and kind.
