I ordered flowers a little early for Mother's Day so I wouldn't have to pay for a delivery charge and I also ordered the next tear up and payed nearly $100 for these flowers. Well, it turned out my mom never got to see them as she had a stroke that morning and I came up and saw and was so disappointed and now they're close to dead on Sunday morning. Ridiculous! My father recently passed away and our extended family was gracious enough to send arrangements to me, my stepmom, and aunt. The family wanted to utilize a company in town to help keep business local. All three of us were to receive the same arrangement, delivered on a Monday. The florist stated she was getting fresh flowers in Tuesday morning so it would be best to wait until then. The arrangements should've been absolutely amazing, right? Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. As you can see from my pictures, there is a huge difference from what was ordered compared to what was received. These arrangements were just plain u-g-l-y. Now let's advance to their delivery. They went to the wrong address for one delivery, and for another they did not deliver it at all, even though their driver left a message stating that ALL arrangements had been delivered. In fact, their delivery driver told my stepmom they would be there by 3:45. Not only did they not deliver the arrangement, they did not even have the decency to call and let her know they were not coming. She literally waited around for hours. I brought my arrangement back to the florist and spoke to the owner, Lori Britton. I explained all of the problems our family has encountered with her business. I stated that I am returning my arrangement to her because it was awful, and for them to not deliver the flowers to my stepmom because she does not want them at this point. Lori stated she would refund my mother-in-law for two of the arrangements along with the delivery charge for the flowers they never delivered. She also criticized an employee for her mistakes in front of me which was extremely unprofessional. After several days they finally refunded us the money, however, it took a lot of follow up on our part. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. This place is not only unprofessional, they provide a lousy product with awful customer service. read more

I called yesterday and spoke with Lori regarding an arrangement that I needed to send to my mom. It's hard to find a good florist when you live out of state. I first went with an florist online option and the company emailed me 6 hours later to tell me that they could not find a florist to fulfill my order for same day delivery. I panicked and called A Wildflower directly, in my mom's town. Lori was so amazing and willing to deliver the same day, even though it was 45 minutes before the shop was closing. My mom really needed a "pick me up" and I knew flowers would do the job. The floral arrangement was beautiful and the most important thing is that my mom really enjoyed them. I still have not received my money back and had to file a dispute with my bank. I have been contacting A Wildflower since right after my order on March 16th. It is April 30th now. Buyer Beware! My friend ordered an arrangement for me for my birthday and was assured they would deliver out of town. She was charged $25 for delivery. Well they called me and said I would have to pick up because they didn't deliver to my location. They never told my friend and never refunded her $25. I told my friend a few weeks later that I had to pick up the arrangement. My friend went to the store and asked why she was charged for the delivery. They told her they just added to the arrangement! Through tremendous grief for the loss of a family member I, in CA, placed an order on Friday for a sympathy arrangement to be delivered to the widow's home in Nevada, approx 30 miles from Wildflower. I placed the order through the website knowing that no one could possibly understand me through my tears. I wasn't surprised to not hear from the family on Friday about the arrangement, lives being in disarray at this point. Saturday, Lori, phoned me to say that the order had NOT been received until Saturday morning. The worst part being that ALL the delivery drivers had already been dispatched for the day and the delivery would be made on Monday. I explained that this was problematic for me and Lori said she would work on getting another driver, one that would be available & willing to drive the 60 miles roundtrip. A bit more than an hour later my husband made the call to cancel the order. Lori had been unable to secure a driver and said she would deliver the order herself at the close of business. We opted to cancel the order. We chose to send our sympathies through a dining gift card to the family instead. Today, Monday morning, I received another call from Lori. She told me that she had worried over the situation throughout the weekend and was following up, with apologies, to see if there was anything she could help with. So, although the arrangement order wound up being a total failure, I appreciate Lori's follow up and kindness during this very difficult time. Her customer service is the 5 star rating. read more

Underwhelming, overpriced, and arrived late. $80 for a bunch of greenery, a small number of carnations, and one candle (which I actually said I didn't want). I wanted an impressive Christmas flower arrangement for my parents to bring some holiday cheer because we won't be able to join them this year - COVID. The $80 did not include any additional fees, it was strictly for the arrangement. $80 for carnations and greens? In addition, my Mom's name was spelled incorrectly; as was my parent's last name. The arrangement arrived a day late. All that being wrong the shop was contacted. They said they'd do nothing and offer nothing. $80 is the cost for carnations, greenery, a candle, and poor delivery. I see some other posts and the arrangements look pretty. The request was from out of town. To me, it's either they took advantage possibly thinking the arrangement wouldn't be seen by the purchaser or the customer service is really that bad. read more

The arch turned out to be beautiful but the bad things weighed the rating down. There was lack of organization and communication as we drew near the wedding day and I also got charged extra here and there that we did not talk about. The lady couldn't bring everything in her car in one trip so she charged an extra $150 the day of to drive to South lake from Carson. The arch, bouquet for myself, and eight boutonnieres, three flower girl crowns, and a basket with petals for about 2k. We originally talked about the budget being $1500 and when we cut out the bridesmaid's bouquets if there was any extra budget to be spent take it out onto the arch but that ended up happening automatically and going over the budget we talked about. I think if there was just better communication there wouldn't have been any negative association to the transaction. read more

I have to write this review because I have been just blown away by this floral shop. I had ordered today 2 different flower arrangements for different reasons to be delivered same day to one address. I pretty much reconciled myself that I can understand if this can't happen. But to my wonderful surprise about 1 1/2 hours later they were delivered. And both simply gorgeous. We were sent pictures and so happy to see they were done with such class and talent. And with these challenging times our local businesses are struggling and often have a hard time finding supplies. If I could, I would give ZERO stars. I ordered through FTD and paid for the deluxe arrangement priced at $75.00. What was delivered to my Aunt wasn't even worth $20. Only 6 carnations and one candle. I ordered the centerpiece with 17+ carnation and roses with 2 candles. Needless to say, FTD is resending through another local florist. I highly recommend you do NOT use this business. They obviously try to cheat customers and not give them what they pay for. read more

These people are unreliable and send ugly arrangements. The story: My friend did some bad things and decided to send me flowers as an apology. Unfortunately she chose to use this florist. These idiots charged her credit card and didnt send the flowers. My friend called them two weeks later to find out what happened and they said that, "I guess they never got delivered." Really?? Because it was a sensitive situation between her and I, she requested that they include a note explaining the delay. These people just disregarded her and included a card with, "Im sorry" written with a blue office pen. No explanation, and no real effort to make things right. The "Im sorry" part was my friends sentiment, not the florist's, which means they chose to write the card with a blue office pen, in 10 seconds, when they already f***ed up and didnt even send the flowers. How could anyone think that was acceptable?! Next time they should just write the card in crayon to match their level of professionalism. The arrangement was ugly as f*** too. The flowers were a solid 8/10, but the arrangement had some very tasteless dead branches hanging out 2 ft in all directions. Id like to meet the person that stood back from that and said to themselves, "Now that is good work." Thats some next level idiocy right there. It resembled the creepy forest scene from the old snow white disney cartoon. This is one business that deserves to close. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would have. I ordered flowers through FTD and normally I get flowers that are at least close to what the picture looks like online. Or I'll get a phone call from the shop that is doing the arrangement if there needs to be a substitution. In this case, this shop just made a substitution that was no where near the picture without contacting me. Not even the same color flowers. The vase was completely different as well. Online it showed a lot of purple and orange flowers, what my wife received was really small purple flowers, one yellow rose, and big huge green banana leaves that don't even look good in the arrangement. Whoever put this arrangement together has no style at all and lacks any kind of creativity. They should quit their job and go into a different field, because this is not the right job for them. read more

When I finally was so disappointed upon picking up an arrangement that I said something, I was told that I don't understand how much (her mediocre) flowers cost (+ a 3X markup), and that I'm paying a premium for her expertise.
