I have never experienced worse customer service from the owner Elton. He was beyond rude and called me a liar on the phone for calling from my mothers phone while we were together placing an order. I would not recommend this business to anyone- the staff is nice but the customer service we received from Elton was absolutely unprofessional and uncalled for. Do yourself a favor and really look at the reviews here. Go through them and ask yourself if your event is worth the risk of doing business with these deplorable people. My wedding was a little over two years ago. I am reminded of it because of the gas shortage going on right now. At the time of my wedding, hurricane Michael had just come through. We were lucky enough to still be able to hold our event. We had several vendors, and each one of them was able to make it on time and deliver on their promises. Except for this one. When this one was several hours late, I called to find out what we should be expecting. It turns out that what I should have been expecting was a man who cannot communicate with other people effectively. He was consistently, rudely telling me how I had unrealistic expectations that he would arrive at all. On the day of my wedding, he told me that I should be grateful that he is even taking my money. He told me that if I wasn't happy, he would go ahead and cancel my delivery, at which point he hung up on me. I had to call him and pretend to apologize just to get my delivery back on. He acted like I was stupid, and called me names, because I was hoping that we would have our rental equipement before the end of our wedding day. Please note that on that same day, due to the hurricane, we had to order two generators to our event, and they were able to arrive within a couple of hours of the time that I called them. This man showed up 10 hours later than expected because he was "looking for gas" when I found gas 5 minutes into searching for it at the time. This man is unprofessional, rude, and does not deserve your business. Your event is important, go to someone who will act like it is. read more

Elton is a disgusting human being and should not be in the hospitality business. He is nasty rude and an embarrassment to that company. I ordered pipe and drapes for my outdoor wedding this passed weekend. Mind you I have been in the hospitality business for over 2 decades from NYC to ATL now here in Tallahassee. I have rented many items from rental companies and this have to be to absolute worst experience I have ever encountered. Before now when ever I rent pipe and drapes they come with weights or something to anchor them to prevent being easily knocked over. So A-Z Rentals sent my pipe and drapes without any such thing. The driver put the pipe and drapes together and the wind knocks them over. Called the office and asked why there weren't weights. Elton responded with "you didn't say it was for outdoors." I said it shouldn't matter if is outdoors or indoors it should come with something to secure them. I asked so what's the solution because I already paid in full and I can't use them and my wedding is the next day. His response, "you would have to figure it out" that's not my issue." Driver then puts it together again this time with the drapes and it falls again and dirties the drapes. The driver calls the office to ask what he should do and Elton told him to have me call him. I called and again was treated disrespectfully by Elton. I was yelled at and he hung the phone up on me. There are much better event rental places in town. Stay far away from A-Z Rentals. Elton is the worst. read more

BEWARE, the owner is extremely rude. I have never ever experienced a hostile owner of a business who verbally attacked me for not following his confusing signage upon returning some tables and chairs. What happened to "the customer is always right"? Get this, you drive up to the business, not sure where to go, you drive around back where you picked up the tables and chairs and the owner starts screaming profanities at you for not following his confusing signage. After exchanging a few choice words and informing the owner I will never rent from him again, he then went back into the office after instructing me to drive back around to the front of the business. I knocked on the front door which was locked and he did not answer because you MUST first call the number on the front door for service. Then I call the number and the owner answers and informs me to drive back around where I was before, this all seems totally deranged. I should have heeded previous similar comments posted about this business, I really don't understand how he can still be in business. Save yourself a lot of grief and rent from someone who will appreciate your business. read more

A-Z Rental provided the tents, chairs, tables and linens for my daughter's wedding this weekend. They did a great job and I cannot recommend them more highly. The chairs were actually comfortable and they got everything in place in a timely fashion. We even had a small hiccup and they came out immediately to fix it. They did a great job and made the wedding so easy. read more

A-Z SAVES MY WEDDING DAY. I had a massive mixup with my caterer in August about the chaffing dishes. Turns out, as I walked by the reception hall, he only had the wire chaffing rack with flimsy aluminum pans. We needed proper serving chaffing dishes ASAP, i.e, in two hours right before the guests would arrive. This was a serious emergency and A-Z totally came through for us. I called panicked and asked if they could help and they sent someone out immediately with 15 chaffing dishes. I could have kissed the delivery man. A-Z saved the day when my other vendor wasn't available/didn't answer on the actual wedding day. We are forever grateful. We highly recommend A-Z for your wedding or event. They're really wonderful. read more

A-Z rented us our ceremony chairs for our wedding, and they were incredibly professional and easy to work with! 2 days prior to our wedding, category 4 Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle. Despite much damage and destruction, the team at A-Z was calm and positive, and they called us the day before our wedding to let us know that they were ready for our big day without hesitation. They were punctual and did not let the hurricane get in their way. Thank you so much, A-Z!! read more

Having rented items from this location for the past eight years, I once again returned to get chairs for our events. When I made two reservations I discussed that the chairs over the past couple of years were not in good repair and were missing caps on the feet which caused marks on the hardwood floors. That individual suggested a different, slightly higher priced chair assuring me that the chair feet would be intact. When I picked up the chairs and brought them home over half of them were missing the plastic protective caps for the feet and some of the chairbacks were cracked. Nonetheless, I used the chairs because, at that point there was no alternative. When I brought the chairs back, I pulled into the location in the same manner as for the past 8 years. The individual at the desk then lectured me on how that was not appropriate and I should park in the front. I then asked him where would he like the chairs to be delivered. He directed me back to the same location where I had picked them up. While I and a very nice young man unloaded the chairs, the desk person came out, confronted me, handed me a paper and said that he had canceled the remaining order because I defied him, would not obey his instructions and he did not need the stress. He no longer wanted my business. Very well. With such inconsiderate customer service I shall, certainly NOT be returning to A-Z Rent All. As I have done a bit of research, I find reviews with similar experience with poor equipment and hostile desk personnel. I recommend ANY other rental company. read more

We've rented chairs from this outfit for at least 8 years and the worst we faced was an occasional batch of really dirty chairs that had to be washed before anyone could sit in them. But for the price, we dealt with it. THIS time, the guy on the desk was not just rude and insulting, but a bit psychotic! In all these years, every time we were directed to the same area to pick up or unload them. The entry to the property is steep and there are two parks on the steep front where getting out of the car is a challenge and loading or unloading anything heavy into a truck or SUV would be downright dangerous. So my husband didn't clearly understand that the guy on the desk on 12/7 apparently wanted the chairs unloaded from one of those parks rather than the usual place--he thought he wanted him to park in front to check in before moving the SUV to the back. But while the other gentleman was helping unload, desk dude comes out with a receipt declaring that our order for the next week was cancelled because he refused to do business with anyone who wouldn't obey him--LITERALLY! At that point, there had been no words, no arguments, nothing that would constitute a "problem" had occurred. We were flabbergasted and I asked him exactly what the problem was--he said my 70-year old husband "defied" him! I asked what motive we could possibly have for "defying" him--we don't care WHERE they are unloaded. As he left the gentleman unloading the chairs warned us that there was no use to reason with desk dude...apparently this is a frequent occurrence with this employee--although other employees who have helped us have been helpful and reasonable. I have to wonder if owner Elton Santana knows this... One GOOD thing about the situation: A-Z wanted $40 EACH WAY for delivery and pickup of the chairs. We called GABRIEL'S and he has the same chairs (except clean) and he charges $35 which covers both delivery and pick-up...and he was VERY nice. Gabriel's has our business from now on (and we're recommending him to everyone we've sent to A-Z. read more

Elton and his staff are fabulous. They are super-efficient, reliable, intuitive. I was planning a wedding reception and the catering staff at the restaurant repeatedly dropped the ball. Elton and his staff stepped up and made everything happen. I'm deeply grateful. read more
