He was in our house for 2 1/2 days and never clean up anything and made excuses for almost everything we ask him concerning the installation. They destroyed our woodwork and suggested that we should have KNOWN that this was going to happen. Say what? They also suggested that we (homeowners) were responsible for the repair of the woodwork (baseboards) that they destroyed. I would never recommend this flooring company to anyone. They gave us three options with regard to pricing, depending on what materials were picked, and provided us with design pictures that clearly showed what the finished product would look like. While the project took a little longer than expected--due to a backordered item and an unanticipated "surprise" when the old floor was removed--the workmanship was AWESOME and they kept to the budget. I hired Klein's handy services for a small job, about 2 hours moving appliances and helping with a…read moregate problem. Everything went fine. I subsequently hired them to do a large job including painting kitchen walls and cabinets, installing a hood vent, and hooking up an ice maker. Job was supposed to start 6/11/2025. It was pushed back to 6/12/2025 due to prior project taking longer than expected. Ok, fine. I understand. They arrived the 12th, worked briefly and said they had to stop because caulk needed to dry before painting. They returned Friday around 3PM (after telling me they'd be there by noon) and worked 2-3 hours when they "had an emergency plumbing job" to take care of. Ok. My job is clearly not very important, even though they have a large deposit to secure it. Saturday arrives and there are three people. I believe they arrived about 9AM, I had to leave about 11:30. I returned about 3:30 and they were already gone. One job, install of ice maker, was started, but incomplete, leaving me with a hose from water source into sink. There was minimal painting done, and mostly what was done was inadequate, and I have to repaint it. Additionally, the enclosure they used to spray was inadequate and there is kitchen paint on the basement floor. Yes, it's a basement, unfinished, and, there's still slop from their spraying on the floor. I was informed, vaguely, Bryson didn't want "things" for father's day, he wanted time with his family. Apparently, that was his communicating they would not be working sunday, father's day. Even though they have worked in the past on sunday, and a holiday, exactly a few weeks ago on Memorial day 2025. I survive another day and a half without my kitchen functional and Monday arrives. About 9:45 i finally texted and asked if they were coming to work (Bryson had stated they like to start at 9AM). I was informed they would be there about 11 or 12. I asked via text when the job would be finished and response was they hoped to do a certain amount of painting that day. And some work the next day. There was no definitive answer when the total job would be done. After asking for an end time, I waited a while for response. There was none. So I texted and told them not to bother returning. I told them I would gather their equipment as I am able to and let them know when it is available for pick up. Literally immediately there was an incoming call from Bryson. I did not answer. Then I got a text saying he wanted to "make things right" and get the job done by end of Tuesday. It was far too late for that. My trust had already been broken, which I communicated to Bryson. I was able to find someone to come finish a couple of the jobs aside from painting, and they arrived Wednesday. I was informed the ice maker could not be hooked up as it appeared the screws were stripped and the ice maker was actually broken. Again, Bryson and crew had done *something* to get icemaker connected, and didn't finish it. There was no communication regarding why they didn't finish. I started getting texts Wednesday from Bryson asking about getting the equipment. My response was to refresh to my previous text and that he will get the equipment when I am able to gather it and will let him know when it is outside to pick up. I informed him I was giving that task the same priority he gave my job. He actually had the nerve to tell me the project was pushed back by a day because of the holiday. Bryson, the job was supposed to be finished the day before the holiday. And yes, I have the receipts, as the saying goes. I have copies of our texts showing exactly what was said by whom and when, as well as pictures of the state things are in as a result of preparing to start the project and them not finishing the project. I was being harassed re:the equipment to the point I have informed him to cease and desist and if there is further communication from him or a third party, I will file charges. I absolutely do not recommend Klein's Handy Services unless you want to be put absolutely last on their priority and then gaslighted about it.

Construction crew performs the work in the same manner. They know what they're doing, and get the job done quickly with no hassles, and very little work on your part. If you have any extra input or requirements, it's no problem and they will fulfill them also. I had a minor request to replace a bent siding corner piece on the house. It didn't get done when the main work was performed, but was surprised that they made a special trip the next day just to replace it, since they had to fabricate that piece at the shop. They will certainly fulfill your needs to your complete satisfaction, with very little work/requirements on your part.

J-Tech did several projects on my home and unfortunately I had very bad experiences with them. They…read moretore out and installed a new front porch floor and decking on my home but didn't perform the work per the manufacturing guidelines of the products they installed. The porch doesn't have the proper slope for water shed and since they didn't seal the decking product they installed, the boards retained moisture, swelled up and buckled. The porch has been off limits for over two years because the company won't come back to fix their mistakes. Its a trip hazard and the warped boards are popping the siding. I also had gutters replaced on the house and unfortunately J-Tech had problems with their bending machine and the gutters still aren't right. A few months after they installed the gutters and downspouts, a section of downspout on the front of the house, fell off. There were two machine screws holding the section on. J-Tech hired a local sub to remove and replace a section of concrete patio on the West side of my house. The sub contractor framed the concrete in such a manor that the water pools in the center and runs back towards the house. This was an issue that was brought up well before the completion date of the projects on my home and stills remains an issue over two years later. Just recently in the past few weeks, I had a sub contractor that J-Tech hired, show up at my front door demanding payment because they were never payed by J-Tech. The sub contractor said he was going to put a lien on my house because of never getting payed. I pointed down to the front porch floor and said I was having trouble getting them to fix the issues of many things they had completed. I've been restoring the family homestead for almost 30 years and this was a horrible experience with J-Tech Construction that I wished I would never had agreed upon. A large sum of money was payed for work that will have to be redone. Let the buyer be aware and always check references.
