Zachary was so patient with me showing trick how to get it in and it took a while for me to practice it, but he did not hurry me at all and allowed me to figure it out with his help. He also helped me understand my thermostat better. He was a very pleasant young man to work with besides being patient and knowledgeable. He was respectful and kind. I suggest that you give Zachary a raise because he is a wonderful representative for your company and I am glad he's going to be my permanent technician for check ups, etc., on my furnace and air-conditioning. Air Care got back to me quickly and said they could come by on Monday between 9-11. There was one company that replied over the weekend but they had no reviews, so I didn't engage with them. Come Monday, Air Care was a no show, no call by 11:30. I called them and talked to Josh. He apologized and said their system didn't let them know I had an appointment. I knew I was texting with AI up to that point, so I accepted his apology. He told me they would have someone out between noon and 2. The technician showed up 20 minutes later and had the bad capacitor replaced and the spring service done in 20 minutes. Air Care came through in the end and got out A/C working again. My wife and I appreciated that and would hire them again.

I typically don't give five star reviews. I think that there's always room for improvement. I…read moreapologize for the length of this review but I think it's important to share all the steps and why LBA checked all of the boxes. During the first cold snap this year (2017) I went to fire up the furnace for the first time and realized there was a problem. (I won't get in to the home warranty company issues.) The wife and I decided to go ahead and replace our aged HVAC system. After a lot of research I called 3 HVAC companies for quotes. We called 1. Company 1 (too busy with a home show to come and give us a timely quote. 5 day wait) 2. Company 2 came by and the sales rep just pointed his flashlight into our crawlspace but never went in to take a look at what exactly needed to be done and then gave me a quote for almost 10k for the lowest end Lennox system(no options). 3. LBA came out the first thing Scott McKinley did was go in to our crawlspace and assess exactly what would be entailed. Scott was knowledgeable about the city codes and explained what they would need to correct with a new HVAC. When we got back upstairs Scott asked a few questions to ascertain our needs and prepared two quotes that covered the range of our budget, each quote contained 3 system options from high to low. He quoted for a new Lennox HVAC. The same system that Company 2 quoted and it was 3k less and he also quoted a Ruud HVAC system(made by Rheem). We decided to go with the Ruud(Rheem Product) because of research, Consumer Reports and best bang for our budget buck. Installation: LBA showed up early on the agreed upon day. Chris was our installation tech and completed the work within the promised time. Chris was also knowledgeable and answered all of the additional questions I had. A couple of days later we had the city inspection and there were a couple of items that needed to be completed before the city would pass the inspection. One of those items would have been beyond the scope of a normal installation. However, LBA was on top of it! I can't stress this enough. They were clear in communicating how they were going to resolve the issue, scheduled a time when they would be out to correct them and showed up on time. LBA gets 5 stars for Promptness, completing the work on time, showing up when they say they would, Coming in on budget(no surprises) Professional and Knowledgeable Sales and Installation staff and doing the work to provide us options within our budget. We couldn't be happier!

This February they were supposed to come out to do the cooling system maintenance and called on the scheduled day to say they had "emergencies" and could not come out until May! Next day I called asked for a manager and she apologized but said there is nothing she could do, it's August now unless someone cancels..Unacceptable.

I usually use another company for all my home needs but I decided to see what they would say about…read morea recent home repair. I was able to easily set up an appointment online within a time frame that would work for me. They called prior to the technician coming out. The technician was professional and friendly and I feel like the quote they gave me was reasonable compared to other companies. They do charge a $49 service fee normally but that's relatively lower compared to other companies. The technician waived the service fee which was extremely nice and not expected. I did end up going with the company I normally use but only because they quoted me a lower price for the same thing but I would consider using Mission in the future if needed.

Be very cautious with Mission Plumbing, Heating and Cooling…read more My neighbor recently had Mission out for a service call; the problem was with the control board in the air handling unit. The tech had to leave to get a board, but was back within a half-hour and spent a little over two hours total, including the time to get a new board. The board was under warranty, so there was no cost for the board. He was charged $1,063.48, but given a 10% "over 65" discount, so total charge was $957.13, which works out to somewhere between, $320 and $479 an hour. The technician also said that he was lucky that the board was under warranty, otherwise it would have cost and additional $1,000 for the board (this was also verified by the service manager at Mission). We got the model number of the board, searched for it on the Internet, and found it on the manufacturer's website (Goodman) for less than $100. We contacted Mission to discuss with the general manager twice; he never returned our calls. We then visited Mission in person to visit with him, but he "was in a meeting", so we were directed to Gabe, who confirmed the charges above. When asked about the pricing for the board, we were told that it is not generated locally, but by Southern. Mission was purchased in April 2021 by Southern Home Services of Maitland, Florida, which owns 26 PHVAC companies primarily along the southeast coast of the United States. Southern is, in turn, owned by Gryphon Investors, a private equity company. So not only does Mission need to cover their overhead locally, they most likely need to also provide funding for Southern, who in turn possibly has to return cash to Gryphon. It all flows uphill. Southern also owns C. M. Mose, another local PHVAC contractor in the Kansas City area. Moral of the story: Mission may have been a good company at one time when it was locally owned, but it has changed. Get pricing up front. Question the technician. If you don't like what you're hearing, go somewhere else, and don't hesitate to go with a mom and pop; quite possibly they can do the job just as well for quite a bit less money. They don't have the overhead that the big guys do (especially if owned by private equity).

Was a house with a 65+ year old, and couldn't stay there. Was at hotel since 4 days before the estimate. Was told by Roberto he would get the ball rolling because it was an emergency, approved the estimate within 10 minutes. Not a word from them a week later. Even called looking for an eta, information anything. So Monday, 10 days after incident, called someone else local. They came out same day for an estimate, literally 8am the next day to do the job. For 600 dollars less and replaced an old wire on top of that. While Tuesday afternoon I never did receive a call from Jeremy, but I did call and cancel. So while Jeremy Electrical I might call to update a system, replace outlets, or such jobs. Would not call again for an emergency. Edit: 100% hit accept on the estimate from the link in E-mail as soon as Roberto left, called next day to confirm it was approved though. Was not once called by Jeremy electrical, but sure cares enough about Yelp comments to reply literally 2 minutes after it was posted though.
