We had Primo move us in July 2025. Almost every piece of wooden furniture had scratches or damage…read more The finial on our bed post was busted off and a knob on a chest was completely gone. They hadn't taken off the metal connectors on the hutch from the base so one is missing. I would not recommend them for any move. We were very disappointed as we paid over $2000 for the 90 mile move here.

I was renting four storage units in a "so called" climate controlled storage facility, when I…read morediscovered that three out of the four units had a rodent infestation and extensive water damage from a leaky roof causing a huge mold and mildew problem. To make matters even worse, the corona virus pandemic was starting to spread rapidly throughout the U.S., so I knew I had to act quickly to salvage what I could and get moved out of that awful place asap. I contacted several movers in the area and Primo Moving was the only company that actually had a phone contact number and actually answered their phone the first time I called them. The other companies in the area could only be contacted through a moving site, or by messaging them. I didn't have time to send messages and then wait days for a response. Alec, the owner of Primo Moving, and his helper Eli were so kind, professional, accommodating, and efficient. They were both so pleasant to work with, and came to my rescue on very short notice. They had me moved out of there and into another facility within the same week that I called them. I was so grateful considering the dire situation I was dealing with. I don't know what I would have done without their help. I would highly recommend Primo Moving, and I will definitely use them again when I find a place to move to.

These guys were great. (Sadly, at the other end, Santa Fe NM, not good. That will be a 2nd review.)…read moreBob Feiro, the Consultant looked at my items in storage and in my apt. for the move and gave me a very reasonable price. The 2 young men who did the moving seemed competent and helpful, all the paperwork got done properly. When I had questions or concerns, Molly and Rita were always available on the phone to help me. I am probably moving to Mexico early next year and will use Wherley again if possible. Recommended by a Duluth friend, and she steered me right.

VERY DISHONEST AND INCOMPETENT COMPANY…read more I used Wherley Moving Systems to store my home furnishing at their facility since I did not have another house to move into at the time. When I bought a house I had them deliver my furnishings. After delivery I was unpacking my things. I had several collector rock and country record albums from the 70's that were in a wooden storage bin I had that no one should have been in. When I looked in the bin, I noticed that my albums were missing and had been replaced with Italian Opera and Harry Belafonte albums that weren't mine. I also was missing several boxes that had some of my police uniforms from my career that I had saved when I retired. I went to Wherely moving and returned the albums that weren't mine. The office manager, Molly wouldn't even acknowledge that this occurred and questioned if I was sure those records I returned weren't mine. I told her that they were not mine. I asked her if there were any security cameras back where they stored peoples property. She told me that there were no security cameras back in the storage units. I filed a complaint with them. I received an email that said they were not going to do anything about my missing items. I filed a police report with Hermantown P.D. since my police uniforms were missing. I contacted the office manager again. I asked to speak to the owner of the company. She said she was it, (which wasn't the case). I eventually located the owner Adam Landwehr from Linkden. I called their office again. I spoke with Adam Landwehr. Mr. Landwehr assured me he would look into it and promised me he would get back to me. He also reaffirmed that they did not have security cameras back by the storage areas where peoples property are stored. I waited for Mr. Landwehr's response for a couple of weeks. I did not receive any response from Mr. Landwehr. I called several times to contact Mr. Landwehr. I left several messages for him to contact me. Mr. Landwehr never returned my calls. If you value your property, I would suggest not using this company. Very dishonest and incompetent.
