I took the same tax papers into Gary's office and in less than an hour he not only found the error but processed the amendment for me to send off to the IRS so I could receive my substantial return. When I asked Gary how much I owed him he told me that there was no charge! I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I met Gary. He has more than 30 years of tax experience to solve just about any problem there is. He is very personable as well as professional. I hired Mark to help clean up some work left behind by a previous accountant. Unfortunately, the experience ended up being just as disappointing--if not worse. During what was supposed to be an active and ongoing engagement, Mark became completely unresponsive. This was especially concerning given that he had access to both my personal financial information and business accounts. There were no status updates, no clear next steps, and no transparency around the progress of the work. After months of emailing and calling Mark with no response, I asked my husband to reach out. He finally made contact with Mark and he acknowledged that he was overwhelmed and had not been handling things professionally after being completely unresponsive for months.
