I went a week ago to this shop to fix my tire since it had a hole. Bought a used tire for $50 and 1 week later I have the same problem only used the car once. so I take it back to the shop and he looks at it and tells me the used tire has a hole and I'm like there no way so he wants to charge me more to get a new one he says sometimes it happens with used tires that they might have a hole but did he even replace my first tire or patched it charged me 50 or gave me a messed up tire in exchange of my messed up tire! Got to the shop and was seen right away. Went in for an alignment and the technician did great. Car drives straight now! But they can get busy with customer quick so get there early. I gave it 4 stars only because parking can be a hard to find if the driveway is full. You have to find parking along the street and hope there is an open spot close. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! I took my suv to get an axle change and they must have moved something that made my car leak the transmission fluid. I got a second mechanic and they said they must have bumped something when they changed the axle. Now my car is not driveable I called this place to have them fix it and tow it there and they said they did nothing and won't repair it. My car was perfectly fine other than the axle and now I got a non working car and have to pay extra money to get it towed to their place to see if the can fix their mistake. On Friday, 7-5-2019 I brought my 2016 Mini Cooper for alignment after a recommendation from a third party. After more than two hours, the guy doing the job, I guess his name is Jorge, told me that he could not make it so I would have to come back on Monday, 7-8-2019 after 3 pm when Dario, the employee who knows how to do it, was going to be there. I was surprised but since I have already paid, I came back on Monday. They did not even do the job but the employee who tried to do it on Friday told me that I had to wait the rest of the day and/or keep coming during the week until they have time to do it. When I expressed my frustration, he became very aggressive and belligerent to the point that I felt unsafe and drove away. I went to the Police station on Imperial and 25th to report the incident in order to keep the records. I am sure, I am not the only "lucky one" having this kind of incident in this place, so I wanted to share this comment for the safe of potential customers. Your integrity would be at risk for a worthless reason. I lost $60 but I was lucky to get out from there before who knows what would have happened to me. read more

2 weeks ago I stop by the Tire shop, and Luis the guy that works there mainly in the cash register gave me a price on Labor, and Alignment. I have it in writing in a receipt. So I went today, to get the work done on my truck, and when I was ready to pay he increased the total price by $30 dlls. So I told him that I wasn't gonna pay that amount, and that I wanted to speak to his manager or the owner and when I said that he became defensive and he said just pay what we initially agreed upon. So as I was handing him the money he said to me don't come back here. I told him that you guys just lost a customer and I will not be returning. Long story short, they have terrible customer service, they don't honor their prices and Luis wanted to rip me off. Bad business :( read more

A great bargain at this hole in the wall tire shop on Imperial! I went to two other tire shops nearby and both were out of stock for my model of tire. This shop is so small I almost didn't see it, but I'm glad I did because the price and quick service are hard to beat. I was expecting to pay upwards of $75, but only paid $50 for a name-brand tire with a good amount of tread left on it. This review is for the A4A Tire Co new location on Andreasen / Auto Park Way in Escondido. Purchased two Winrun 380 185/65/14 tires less than a year ago. DOT ratings were 420 for treadwear, and A's for traction and heat, so thought they were good tires. Employees seemed in a hurry to get us out of the shop, and the receipt did not show the brand or model of tire, did not show the serial numbers, did not show the car's mileage at installation. In short, no way to prove they came from there. I wondered about that at the time. 11 months later: Tires are worn past the treadwear indicators. Car driven less than 10K miles since tire installation. Two other tires (Ohtsu from Discount Tire shop) that were put on the year prior to these are still showing more than 60% of the tread left. In short, these tires cannot possibly have a legitimate treadwear rating from the DOT for "420" (which indicates they should go a minimum of 40K miles). A4A's receipt says no warranty of any kind from shop, must go to Mfg for any problems. read more

I've had 3 different sets of used tires from AAA. They are always quick to get the tires on, so your wait is practically nothing! 2 out of 3 times, I was the only customer there. The tires are brand names in good condition: Michelin, Goodyear, Kumho etc. Since I don't drive a whole lot, they'll last me a long time. For $35 per tire (total, no balance or disposal fee or even tax!), you can't go wrong. And they always have my hard to find size 14-inch tires. Cheats and LIARS!!! Called to see if they had tires for my truck and was told they had brand new ones just pulled off a Tacoma for dirt cheap, but when I got down there they were the wrong size and they tried up-selling me on a set of new ones. Even though I felt like a sucker, I just wanted to get tires and get back to work, so I took the bait: $550 for a set of tires by a maker I never heard of. Oh well, I thought. But then I happened to notice as they were putting them on that they were practically bald!!! I said, "You told me these were new!" And the guy said, "Yes, they're only 2 weeks old." Yeah, riiiiight. Waiting for an alignment, came back to pick it up and found the guys (employes) chilling with other guys listening to loud mexican music who knows maybe even having a drink! Well, after 2 hours my car wasnt ready and as soon as i got there they jumped into the car they had been working on since i left... wtf you're not working on what you said you were! And i get there and dont even try to have me stay or offer to help me since I've been waiting after they said it woulve been done after an hour ! I stopped in here about a month ago. I had to put in a can of fix a flat into my leaking tire so that I could make it to the nearest tire shop. Thankfully I made it to AAA which used to be Tire Dudes. Service was prompt, I sat down in their seating section and my tire was plugged and ready to roll in about ten minutes. It cost me $10 for them to plug the hole( caused by a large screw) clean out the gunk I had put in to get their, and they re-balanced my tire on the machinery they use. The service is usually quick and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Until recently they started offering rims for cars as well. I bought a tire here on a whim after my tire popped and it was flat within 24 hours. I assumed I might have done something wrong as this tire wasn't even on my car for a full day so I pumped it with air and it was flat again by the morning. I took it back and told them the tire was flat and they didn't even seem surprised and they just patched it instead of offering to replace the faulty tire. Two weeks later the tire is flat again and I took it to a different shop and they said the tire was essentially irreparable and they can't believe a shop would sell me such a poor tire to begin with. Worst alignment shop hands down. Went here a few days ago and explained to the "technicians" I needed an alignment for my lowered vehicle and also explained I had already tried to get it aligned elsewhere but they weren't able to correct all angles due to my aftermarket products (struts and caster camber plates). The "techs" @ AAA didn't even know what a caster/camber plate was! And they're supposed to be the professionals.... After I had to explain what a caster/camber plate was and what its purpose is, they then offered to "try" to align my vehicle. I further explained I didn't want them to align it if they didn't have the capability because not all shops do, only those who specialize with these types of alignments can. Since I had to explain the purpose of a basic product I wasn't very confident they were able to perform the task at hand and I did not want to shovel out another $60 and still not have my wheels aligned, all for nothing. Once the "tech" noticed my lack of confidence he then began to insult my vehicle/me. Good job at being professional. Hope you guys suck it and your company tanks during this economic downturn. read more
