I brought my car in for an alignment and a general diagnostic. From the start, the front desk employee made personal comments about my accent and where I was from--unprofessional and clearly flirtatious. Later, he called to list some non-urgent issues with my car and said the alignment would be done soon. I mentioned I couldn't spend more that week since it was my birthday, and he used that as a chance to invite me for coffee. I politely declined, and his tone changed immediately. When I picked up my car, I was told the alignment wasn't done due to other issues and that I now had to pay $1,430 before anything else. He said "happy birthday" sarcastically as he showed me the bill--originally expected to be $80. The way it was handled felt petty and unprofessional. I won't be coming back. read more

1. Customer service: The guy in the counter had a rude tone about him. Not very friendly or welcoming. 2. Pricing: I was told me since my car was lower it would be almost double then a regular alignment. My car has with factory "sport" suspension. (Wasn't quoted any different at other alignment shops/dealer) 3. Time: I was told there wasn't availability for another day and a half. And only had one time slot. Ended up having the dealer do it for 40$ less then what I was quoted. You know something is wrong when the dealer is cheaper!!! read more

Service is straight forward but highly recommend making an appointment due to the high volume of customers. In my experience, the employees offer a thorough inspection and will notify you if a part needs to be replaced. When there are no customers but me, makes you wonder. Let's talk about safety. I'm the kind of guy who checks the work when I take it to a shop. When I got home to check to see if bolts and nuts where tight, they weren't. My upper control arms were not tight at all!!! Seems like the guy who worked on it seemed to not like his job. He can kill someone. If your all about safety, please don't take you car there. And yes, the price of a simple alignment is ridiculous. 150!!?? Bought a used ambulance van and had new front shocks installed (independent mechanic) and 2 front new tires (Discount Tires). Took van to Trueline and told them the van steering shakes at 65 mph. Trueline mechanic said, you have defective new tires. Returned to Discount tires and they said no issues with tires. Swapped rear tires to front, shaking went away. I usually use Trueline for specialized suspension needs for alignment or installing bushings. Such as lowered cars or odd misalignments no one else can fix. I've used them for years. As far as pricing for installing shocks, fixing brakes or other installation that only requires bolting on the part. I would recommend going else where. I recently moved to the area and didn't know a good mechanic, i was so lucky to find True Line. I was referred to True Line by Discount Tires to replace a stud and end up getting my alignment done while there. Miguel (mechanic) advised me about having super thin rotors that needed replacement. I knew he wasn't lying because I had noticed my car vibrating when breaking. He wasn't pushy or desperate at all to have me do it at the time or through them at all... he just wanted me to be aware of it. I came back of course when it was better time me and they got me in and out within 30mins and at a wayyyy better price than any other place (I brought the rotors). I dealt with Chris, Miguel and George and they were all very friendly and professional. I would recommend True Line to anyone. I've taken most of my cars here for years. Sadly, I won't anymore. I went to take one of my pickup truck and the gentlemen asked if it had a lift. I told him it had a body lift and he told me it cost $150. I explained to him it was a body lift, vs a suspension lift, and that I never paid that much there for that truck. He added it was the same thing. He above anyone else should know that a truck with a body lift has the factory installed suspension. Rather than try to explain to my why it would cost more he stayed adamant that was the price. Nice job of steering me away from that place once and for all. The gentleman at the counter could tell I knew nothing about cars. His name was Jose. Given that, he was very kind and patient to explain and even demonstrate what was going on with my car. Most car shops would just do the labor and had you a big receipt. But Jose was very informative, smart, and polite. He broke down in terms I can understand (no car talk haha) what was going on, how it was affecting my drive, the breakdown of parts, price, and labor. I thought that was exceptional service. They're honest in their work and they check your wheel alignment manually as well a straightening out the steering wheel. Pricing is comparable/competitive with other surrounding business like it. When my car was getting aligned, they talked to me about the part that needs to be changed because it's not adjustable.
