Still Suzanne worked behind the scenes to get as much information as possible to determine whether my friend actually could get out on bail (like I said, his situation was complicated). He found an item jammed the mechanism and once removed, the stove worked. He also noted that I was getting a lot of soot from my burners, and he also properly calibrated all of my burners and eliminated all my soot issues. He talked about death in the family (several of them), then other excuses, one after another. I tried to be very patient, cause I can understand about family death and the stress that can cause in life. However, life goes on and David continued with his business but he still hasn't made it right even though he said he would. He didn't even reimburse me for at least the fees I paid him and for the fees charged by the state. He doesn't answer emails. Just basically ghosted me - took my money and ran.

I frequently mail stuff overseas or to APO addresses and she always knew all the regulations (about customs and whatnot) right off the top of her head. I always dread going to a city post office, because they never know which customs form I am supposed to use or whether I can get delivery confirmation or whatever. They inevitably get it all screwed up, have to call the manager, and look it up in some book. Major hassle. But not here - she is a walking encyclopedia of post office minutiae, and friendly too!
