Top price you can expect for gold (unless premium brand gold Tiffany's etc or rare vintage pieces) is 80% of melt value. I inspected each piece with a jewelers loop to find markings. We showed up right around closing time (they close at two) but they had a gent in the room already. I was greeted by the father and told they would take us as soon as they finished up (around 15 minutes,) if we wanted to wait. We were taken in, VERY courteous, polite, friendly and professional. I was impressed the son could recognize most of the pieces without a jewelers loop and those few he couldn't he put through a spectrometer and got confirmation instantly.
