I called everyone one in the area. When I called Todd, he informed me that he repaired aviation equipment. After hearing that I am a new business owner, he offered to take a look at it to see if he could help me out. I was able to take it by the same day. After his assessment, he agreed to repair it for me. Though I told him there was no rush, he began working within a day or so. He sent pictures to show progress and to identify areas of concern that weren't initially visible. He completed the work in less than a week and charged a very fair price. My initial fear was aviation repair technician rates. But, he was fair and reasonable. I definitely recommend anyone that may have an auxiliary fuel tank in need of repairs. Don't go out and buy a new tank, go see Todd and give your old tank new life. 5 stars!!!!!

Jose was the artisan that worked on my vehicle and he did a marvelous job saving my precious "Mule" from the junk yard! Nice clean weld job and more importantly done in a timely manner. Geico came to our home to do the estimate and I got on the phone to find a body shop that could complete the repairs in a reasonable amount of time. Many folks are repairing their vehicles instead of buying new ones when they are wrecked, and all the body shops are backed up. Seriously backed up! Sides made the most sense to us and within a couple of weeks we had a drop off appointment. The staff are friendly, cordial, honest and thorough. We knew going in there was a shortage of parts for Mazda [our SUV] and I think Subaru. Plus, Geico had to go to the body shop to perform at least 2 supplemental estimates updating the original estimate. This is because additional damage is often found during repairs, for example, the front seat needed replacing. Time was not a critical issue for us, as we bought a replacement vehicle in the interim. Sides took about 8-10 weeks to complete the job, which they told us up front. They quickly updated me at every follow up phone call and they offer a text messaging status service which is not really accurate or dependable. Do call them, they will talk to you and help you on the phone. We were pleased with all the work including the paint job, when we picked the car up and I've enjoyed my "new" [new to me, it is a 2016 model] car ever since. I highly recommend Sides! No technician bothered to come out and look at it and discuss the amount of work needed or timeline for repair. The estimate came to my email two days later. There was no way to tell the extent of the damage by pictures made by a receptionist in order to evaluate the damage and give a fair estimate . She didn't even look under the truck for damage. A lazy and unfair way to do business. Wasted my time.

Lights dimmed then died, the car struggled to keep running. I limped home on a wing and a prayer. This morning I started looking for a shop that would at least do a diagnostic right away so I could figure out my plans for going back to Virginia on Monday. After calling a few shops that wouldn't even let me have the car towed to them I found Hooligan Motorsports. A quick call with Rob and he said he could have a look at it as soon as I could get it there. We both suspected the Alternator and within 20 minutes of having the car dropped off Rob called to tell me that he could have it fixed up same day, and an hour or so after that he called again to say the car was ready to be picked up! On top of helping me out of my sudden problem right away, the cost of repair was surprisingly affordable. I'm truly fortunate to find this shop. Rob is very easy to work with. He was the miracle I needed today, and I have found the local shop where we will be taking our repair needs in the future.

I stopped by Porsche of Huntsville to drive a Cayenne. I have been looking at Cayenne's for several…read moreyears. On the lot today they did not have the 8 cylinder model. I test drove a turbo charged 6 cylinder white Cayenne selling for $98,000. When I started the engine, no big deal. The car has 386 horsepower. I was expecting to hear loud engine noise but it wasn't loud. I drove the car on the interstate. The ride was good. The brakes felt like they grinded and that could be because the brakes are new. Turning was great as the car handled well. I was surprised the interior was plain looking. For the money I expected more. The car did not have 360 view while driving. My Lexus RX 350 is a turbo charged 6 cylinder with 360 view while driving. When I took the car out on I-565, I accelerated and there was a lag time from pushing on the gas pedal and immediate speed. The car was nice but I did not have the speed I was looking for. My Lexus runs like a scalded animal. There are no 8 cylinder Cayenne's locally. The 2025's are being ordered. I would rather test drive the car first so I will wait until the 2025 8 cylinders are on the lot. The salesman was very nice. He said the wiggle room for the Cayenne's was only $5000 and that applied to the new ones that cost $88,000 up and including the super Cayenne that costs $216,000. The 8 cylinder Cayenne's run $124,000 and up. I will be back.
