I have been a loyal AAA customer since I started driving. When my car's A/C wasn't working, I thought it would be a good idea to go to AAA for the repairs. Unfortunately I was dead wrong. 3 weeks, 3 separate appointments, and a lot of money later, and I still don't have working A/C. I was given different quotes over the phone then surprised to find out when I got there that the cost or timeline was drastically different. This happened on multiple occasions, and instead of helping to fix it, the associate treated me like I was the problem while her manager stood there and did nothing to help while I questioned why I am repeatedly told one thing on the phone and another in person, never mind the 3 separate trips in to get the car fixed. I have never had a worse experience with auto repair than what I am currently having with AAA Northeast auto repair in Enfield. I had my breaks replaced (with new rotors) 11 months ago by them (over $1700 total cost), they said i need new breaks now again, when i ask about the warranty, I'm told I dont need them just yet... I had them replace a tire in December, they told me all 4 of my tires need to be replaced due to them not being balanced right. I didnt ask them to align the tires when they put on the new one. Thats my fault i guess (Stupid me thought if town fair tire did it, AAA would too.). I brought my van in for exhaust repair and an oil change on saturday morning for an 8am appt. They tell me they can't repair the exhaust because it would be easier to take it somewhere else to get it welded, and they would do the oil change and repair an oil leak (what leak? Ive never seen oil under the car but I want to be safe, so ok, fix the leak.) and finish the repair Monday. Now here we are on Monday at noon, and I just got a call that the mechanic will be out until Wednesday!!!. I am not happy. read more

I went here for my Real ID yesterday. Staff was extremely friendly, helping each other if needed. Very polite to each other and customers. Unfortunately I did not get names, but the woman doing photo and DMV portion was very kind and joking with customers. They all made a usually "annoying" process very easy and quick. Great atmosphere and you could tell they all enjoyed their jobs and working together. read more

Had AAA 2 times last week. AAA in my husband's name and it wasn't a problem to have them come to the house. My husband is in the hospital and could not be with the car. I want to provide feedback of exemplary service that I received at the AAA Auto Repair facility in Enfield, CT. I recently had an experience where my tires were prematurely worn, as they had not been properly rotated by this AAA shop. The omission was promptly handled by Car Car Manager Anileik Otey (aotey@aca.aaa.com). She quickly took accountability for the oversight on the part of AAA of Enfield, and worked diligently to ensure my issue was handled in a courteous, professional and holistic fashion. I was pleased to find out that Anileik had ordered replacement tires for my vehicle, to make sure that I was pleased with the outcome. These were installed in a timely fashion, and I have to say that word travels fast when people like Anileik are involved. Already, co-workers whom I volunteer with are so impressed by the manner in which this was addressed, and I am quite sure there will be new business at this service center which reflects that. Brought my car in for a blinking check engine light, car was running really rough. I had recently replaced the spark plugs and coil packs a few weeks before bringing my car in. They told me the coils I purchased were poor quality and probably going to break down sooner rather than later. They also told me I needed a serpentine belt replaced as well as valve covers. They replaced one of the coils that was throwing a code. The car was undrivable at the time so unfortunately I had to give the go ahead for repairs. They charged me $1154. The engine light came back on about a week later for another cylinder misfire. Luckily I had a warranty for 24,000 miles so I brought it back for them to check it out. They explained that the rest of the coil packs were going bad and told me they would charge $200 to replace the one that threw the code. I asked how much to replace the remaining 5 and they said it would be $200 for each... an hour of labor for each coil pack. Then she explained it only takes a half hour to put each one in. I requested a new quote but by that time I decided it was going to be too much money so I left. $1000 to replace 5 coil packs? Five hours of labor? For an 08 Honda Pilot? Ridiculous! I don't recommend this place unless you want to spend a lot of money. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The agent in your Enfield CT office lied to me. I spoke with her manager and was advised that she was fairly new, and he apologized. Absolutely everything this agent did was wrong and caused me to be billed for a policy I canceled. After many, many, many phone calls my issue is still unresolved. I have filed a complaint with the department of consumer protection. I will advise everyone I know to NEVER use AAA for their auto or home policy. read more

I signed up for the premier service for the first time I've had any experience with AAA. Months later when on vacation my vehicle battery dies. I call for service and a replacement battery and Im told the service isn't available where I was. I then ask if the service is available nearby so I could be jump started and then meet them at that location and I'm told they won't be available during evening hours. Why on Earth did I pay for a service that isn't available? My first time with AAA will be my last time. read more

The staff here was so helpful and friendly until they realized that they could not help me with the reason why I went there (I had to contact a higher up in the company). Once they determined that they could not provide any service to me, they were very rude. Not what I expected from AAA staff. read more
